When you’re this heavily invested into the defense they can’t blow games like this. 200 something rushing yards and over 400 passing. What will the excuse be this time?

Also Brady needs to be fired after today’s garbage.

Bradys playcalling and terrible 3rd down efficiency killed our defense cuz it kept them out there way longer then they should’ve. The left hand needs to help the right, and our offense is killing probably our best defense since 2015.

We had the same problems with Teddy and now with Darnold. The only common denominator there is Brady.

God I hope LSU hires him.

Same. I hope Wonder Boy goes back to Gotham, im so tired if all these “offensive geniuses” coming in on a red carpet when they havent earned poo yet. This is definitely NOT a Saints offense. No rhythm, no adjustments, i spotted 5 plays that we did last week - and their defense did too. Cant get our quarterback on rhythm, keeps making all these deep routes instead of letting Darnold get a few short quick ones to give him some confidence and takes pressure off the offensive line. Put the defense on the back of their heels instead of doing the exact same poo over and again.

and i give some of the offensive blame to Rhule too since he didnt hire a former offensive coordinator to help mentor and guide Brady as a position coach, instead of Blunder Boy all alone with only ONE season as a college passing coordinator. dick grayson film GIF

We have some of the softest, most dramatic fans in the NFL.

This is not a storied franchise. If you want to be a glass half full type that's admirable but this team has had 7 winning seasons in 25 years and no back to back winning seasons. People know what a bad year looks like by now you can't blame them.

Sad, but true. We have a coaching staff that has proven little at the NFL level. A QB who has proven virtually nothing at the NFL level. A shoddy, patchwork OL. A talented, but pretty inexperienced D.

Looks like the writing is on the wall. Barring a miraculous turnaround, we're in for another year of talking draft by mid-season.

Some people live their life in a perpetual state of delusion.

Getting rid of Brady won't fix everything. Brady wasn't throwing interceptions, dropping passes, fumbling the ball, getting blown off the o-line, getting pushed of the d-line, giving up 400 passing yards p/gm, not getting qb sacks,  etc

true dat.

Everybody sucked donkey dick that game.

It was amazing that they even had a shot at still coming back and winning after all that garbage (if only the "D" could stop a nosebleed that game)

    • That is probably a good point that I did not consider. It doesn’t force their hand financially, to declare early.
    • Realistically he's probably not still going to be under contract when hes good to go again? Unfortunately for him you cant sign him for more than a small one year deal until he can prove hes still a good player... that might not happen.  I think hes played his last down as a panther.
    • It has been going down that backyard ball road with the QBs a long time. It also has made it more difficult to evaluate OL for the pro game.    I agree though that the NIL is making it even worse. Then they get in the league and suck, coaches get fired. Here comes a new system every year for some of them, same as you are talking about in college.    Unfortunately, IMO, the league has responded by taking the path of least resistance offensively.    The only saving grace for the QB problem we identified here is the slotted salaries out of the draft. No more 100 million rookie deals. Which today would be 250 million and even more.  So to me, paying a player that doesn’t bring success in the first two or three years, you can’t do it. Better to take another shot in the draft or reclaim someone else's failure. Given that all staffs are not equal. Look what Shanahan did with Purdy for instance. And their getting off of Lance quickly.    In theory if Canales is a QB whisperer type, which we don’t know he isn’t at least to a higher degree than many (not including the established masters) we should be quicker on the trigger with these QBs. If Bryce doesn’t show out next year we really need to hit the reset.
