No more retreads or reclamation projects at QB

I already know the next upcoming off season they will be guys like Daniel Jones, Drew Lock, maybe even Derek Carr available, this front office has to say no to all of them.

They need to draft a QB and build him up. Go look the past SB winners, mvps or just the best teams in general, outside of Peyton and Brady all of them were drafted by their original team.

There are talented QBs out there wasting away on bad teams but you can’t pluck someone, put them on a new bad team, and think the problem is solved.

Smartest guy this offseason was Stafford by refusing to come here. Nobody can succeed if the oline is Swiss cheese, the WR drop on point passes, and the OC sucks.

Robby needs to stop being treated as a  #1b WR, he is not that and will never be, we are better off with TMJ at the #2.

I'll take Derek Carr in a heartbeat, his situation feels similar to Matthew Stafford languishing all those years in Detroit.

Derrick Carr would get killed behind that offensive line. When the Raiders had a porous line, the fans wanted him gone. He has no mobility.

I think Tepper will force Rhule and Fitts to go all in on a big splash QB this off-season but largely leave the details up to them whether it's a trade (Watson, Wilson, Rodgers, etc), a high level FA (Derek Carr type), or a 1st round draft pick. But he knows the value of the QB position and I think he's going to get tired of watching us try to bargain shop there. Those items are in the bargain bin for a reason.

Stafford made an easy decision. Rams or Panthers.

Rams have a real OL and a real play caller

Panthers have turnstiles and the boy doofus.

McVay vs Brady is no contest. Hell he made Jared Goff look serviceable.

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
