Signing a vet RB for this season

We all expect CMC to return from IR ready to go. Expect being the key word here. We have 2 backs at this time that are healthy. Since Rhule now wants a run first offense would this be a good move at this point or not???

We aren’t going to be a run heavy O in reality. 

Rhule just doesn’t want Sam tossing it 40 times vs 15 Chubba runs.   They managed the game Sunday poorly.  
 

I suspect the goal is just to look more like other games in reality.  Even split goal.

If we sign a back we need a big physical back 230 lbs to run at the goal line and short yardage.

I mean we have Royce who's 238 lbs, averaged 4 yards a carry and around 80% catch rate before coming here. Problem is he's getting like 2-3 snaps a game. 4-5 yards a carry is about all you can ask for. Gotta keep running and eventual guys break one, it's happened against us many times
