I keep seeing this said but I don’t know what that is. Tua? We can match their picks.

It’s gonna be expensive but Miami had better capital…last draft…which I guess people just keep parroting.

Their first this year isn’t even theirs it’s where the 49ers finish.

Yeah they only have San frans 1st because they traded for waddle.

Tua is a nonstarter for me if I was the Texans. I’d rather get the picks and defensive/offensive players on rookie contracts so I can make a big trade to the top of the draft for another franchise qb. I’m honestly not sure what players the dolphins have that I would want.

This. Xavien Howard is the only player worth acquiring but he wants too much damn money. The dolphins are thin on talent. Which is why their record is what it is.

I will legit be sick to my stomach and probably just give up on football for a while if we give up what some of these rumors are saying.

It won’t take that much it never does. Remember patriots were wanting a first for Gilmore to start the year. Well guess what we got him for a sixth two years from now. With all the stuff surrounding Watson it will be much less than what Houston wants. They messed up waiting during the off-season.

    • Then why are they paying QBs so much compared to other players? QB are making so much it's harder and harder to pay other players. If a guy plays like 1 of 11 then there pay should be in line with that. Not all QB should be breaking the bank just because your next or a former 1st rounder There is a reason they say try to win it all on a QB rookie deal because after that they can cripple a team on what it can do. I would rather not do that for a bottom 1/3 QB. Cam and Jake have been the only QBs worth investing long term into this team has had I would rather not lower the bar. If a guy don't got the IT factor and it shows I would rather not invest long term into them and keep looking

    • I mean, I hear what y'all are saying, but Derrick could have been positive without being negative.  He essentially accused people of not seeing Bryce's improvement because of their desire to not be wrong. He could've kept it about Bryce and the team. For example, he could've said: "Bryce has made strides, and we believe in him. This coming season, his continued improvement will turn a lot of people into believers."  That would've been supportive of his teammate and sent a message to the doubters. That being said, his tact almost summoned and left the door ajar for more skepticism. That's my take anyway. Bryce has improved from the bottom to perhaps skirting the line between the bottom third and mid-third at best...after three seasons. We've all seen it. Yay! In my mind, Bryce has still got a long way to go and a short time to get there, but my expectations are top five--at least top 10--always! Yes, I am a fan, so there's that, but I don't believe it's unreasonable to expect excellence. Hopefully the Panthers FO has the same mindset (and that doesn't even necessarily have anything to do with what we gave up to acquire him). That is the lens I'm looking through. Derrick Brown has his homer glasses on. He just needs to be more diplomatic and thoughtful with his words in my opinion, but I get it that he's a good teammate.
