Where everybody go?

In the end, it's a win, something that has become rare over the past few years.

Does the team have a myriad of problems still? Yes.

Do we have some concerning injuries? Yes and we picked up a major one yesterday.

Do we still have faith in Rhule and Co.? Yesterday helped, but more wins are going to be necessary.

But it was a win and a hard fought one. We're a running team instead of a passing team, Brady may have just figured that out.

The Falcons were on a 2 game winning streak scoring roughly 30 points a game over the past 3 games. So to shut them down to 13 points was a great effort. In fact their total passing yards was Ryan's lowest total ever against the Panthers.  Sure you can bitch all you want but we won yesterday by dominating time of possession and controlling the clock. Do I wish we scored more points ?? Of course but at this point a win is a win and it doesn't matter how you did it.

And yet you  have no compunction telling others how to be a fan. There's a word for that.

Funny enough, the only people telling others how to be a fan are the overly positive ones.

If you're realistic and critical of the team, Positive Polly will tell you "go root for another team."

Y'all can't stand when someone doesn't think the way you do. As fans, we're allowed to be critical of the team. It's a part of sports. And the best part is this is a message board. You're allowed to discuss poo like this. Lol. That's kinda what a discussion board is for. And my opinion can't hurt you. Because I'm a stranger. On the internet. So simmer down, fella. Nothing we say will personally affect you.

Quote the post where I've told a Panthers fan to go root for another team. I'll wait.

Way to change the subject. You tell folks how to be a fan constantly. It is getting old. Then you go on the victim kick when you get called out. It is both sad, and hilarious.

This is what you said; "Nope. I'll follow and root for my local teams how I choose and call it like I see it win or lose. If you don't like it tough poo."

If you can root as you choose, shouldn't you allow others the same courtesy?

Neither draft a quarterback. That's the only answer. If you waited all this time to start your Teddy fanboy shtick you are welcome to head over to the Broncos boards.

There you go.

I told you to follow Teddy if you are so keen on defending him months after he's been gone there is a difference. Do you see me still crowing about Kyle Allen Taylor Heinicke or Will Grier?

It was Halloween

I was trying to get candy and jell-o shots instead of arguing with a bunch of musty neckbeards about winning a meaningless game that hurt the team's draft position.

I'm hoping we can hurt the draft position some more on Sunday.

    • Just another 1st round QB that never paid off for the team that drafted them or traded for them. It's been like this since the SB began. 36 QBs have now won the SB & only 13 of them have been 1st rounders winning with their original team. Namath 1968, Griese 1972, Bradshaw 1974, McMahon 1985, Simms 1986, Aikman 1992, Elway 1997, Roethlisberger 2005, P.Manning 2006, E.Manning 2007, Rodgers 2010, Flacco 2012, & Mahomes 2019. Only 3 have taken longer than 5 seasons as the starter to win a SB.  4  6  5  4  6  4  15  2  9  4  3  5  2 [the years it takes for these 1st round QBs] 5  1  4  1  3  1  1  2  3  4  [10 of the 36 have won a chip with their 1st team that haven't been drafted in the 1st round. These are the years it took them as a starter] What stands out? Only 2 of these QBs have lost their first championship appearance. Elway took 4 years as a 1st rounder & Hurts took 2 years as a 2nd rounder. Of the 10 non-1st round QBs, 2 are 2nd rounders, 3 are 3rd rounders, 5 are 6th rounders or later. Please stop wasting time on drafting 1st round QBs with such a high failure rate. The remaining 13 QBs are traded or free agent signings. Stafford, Favre, Young, Williams and Dawson are the 5 trades. Peyton Manning & Tom Brady also won for teams as free agents on a short stay as well as being drafted. The lesson here is don't waste your franchise on farming up 1st rounders for the league, and steer clear of trading for a franchise QB. Stick to finding that championship QB by drafting them outside of the 1st round or through free agency.
    • I lost most of the respect I had for Fox in 2010. He should have resigned if he hated the job that much. Instead he stuck for his paycheck and let stuff go to hell.    I burned out on Ron too but my deal breaker issue with him was away from football and after he was gone from the Panthers. He may have been out of his depth but never quit on us.
    • From where they were one year ago to now, pretty incredible. I mean, say what you want about Vrabel he is no Jerrod Mayo.
