saying I don't think we have ever had these options at corner... At best we had who Chris gamble? And lower teir guys. . Gilmore has won defensive player of the year. Jackson is a legit corner he gonna get paid this off-season.Bouye has been to a pro bowl. He's had teaming calling for a trade last week since we was losing.

Horn looked like a cornerback 1 when he was healthy.. I mean Henderson hasn't been healthy so I m gonna leave a * by his name. Even the you guy the rookie Taylor has made a few plays... not to mention Chinn... what say you.. .

Well we just added Gilmore to the mix seeing him for the first time not sure stats will reflect it yet. Not to mention 2 of the guys I mentioned are injured.

The only real measure you can use is statistical to compare our history. The "on paper" measure is harder to agree on. Too subjective.

We are a top 10 passing defense(probably top 5 after the stats update for this week). But we have been a top 5 passing defense before in our history.

Yeah, this secondary can match up to a whole lot of top secondaries. 4 top cover corners, with Chinn and Burris in the back. And it is only going to get better. A definite bright spot.

I mean we all know the offense is a train wreck.. which on paper at the start of the year it was omg weapons everywhere hyped. I was just speaking on defense.

Who cares it will be wasted just like when we had Luke here, never have both sides of the ball on the same page. Wasted opportunities!

    • -Rico is our early season MVP. Stud. -Bryce Young - best game as a pro. See the other threads, very happy with how he played. The first McMillan TD was a good example of what type of rhythm and feel we should see. -Cade Mays had an absolute mother of a game. Absolutely bullied the Cowboys interior. I am getting convinced he’s a potential answer at center. Want to keep seeing it. -Icky & Lewis road grading on the left was top tier today. They’re getting it done the past two weeks. -BC in our stretch zone looks. We finally started diversifying the run game. Looked like we had Brady moving quickly to the perimeter on stretches and tosses. He swung out and killed some Dallas secondary. -Trevin Wallace got himself in position and helped close a few Dallas possessions. Doesn’t go unnoticed. -Mitchell Evans - loving what I’m seeing -Jimmy Horn Jr making noise. He looks NFL quick, not just college quick. -Coaching staff - they’ve have questionable moments this season but this was a really nice, complete game they called. I probably missed some, feel free to chime in
    • I agree but also the teams we lost to are 10-6 combined. So I think we are middle of the pack a little lower. But atleast we are .500 percent. I think the difference is that we are stopping the run and running the ball and not turning it over all the time. So I believe there is some optimism due to Ricos play and that allows us to throw the ball. Big ups to the Oline though. They have done great.
