Or you're welcome to head back to your original team. Looks like they have a qb now.

This is childish thinking……battered fan syndrome, wallowing in your grief rather than welcome new fans, simply because you’ve been miserable longer, or since the beginning.  How the hell else do you build on your fan base?  We have fans that became fans because of one player(s) or coach,  ended up staying fans for 20-30+ years.  Good grief.

I've been reading the new replies here and most of them are from glen going on the attack for the last several hours. You talk about childish thinking yet you harbor disdain for one of the best players in our franchise history and when asked for reasons you rattle off petty things like how he dresses and press conferences. If you want to stay and be taken seriously be consistent and stop littering ignorant takes about one player while falling on your sword for another bc of the college team they played for. If not I guess we need not interact much further.

I mean he and kungfooldude are like the opposite of a Welcoming-Committee here for new fans.  It's always "Go back where you came from" with those guys.   smh.

This from the guy who doesn't know the meaning of the word hypocrite. As a member of the "Superior Seven" he spends half his time telling others how to act, and the other half outright insulting them.

But it's okay. They only do it because they want to make the Huddle a better place. lol

That's a pretty small portion of the fans. Typically that works on kids but not adults. Player surfers just surf to the next spot with their player or they find another player to surf with.

You build your fan base by winning or existing in the community for decades, so that loyalty is generations deep.

Plenty of us are welcome to all sorts of new fans, but if you're looking for a lot of positivity and support, midweek on a message board for a struggling team is gonna be a tough place to find it.

I'm excited overall about the team but I'm not too excited about it's present state, so hard to post much positive stuff, ya know?

You aren't a fan of this franchise and you know that you aren't a fan of this franchise. 90+% of your posts literally directly relate to your ex-players, Sam and Robby.

If you are here in 4 years and know anything about this team, I'll be stunned. So, prove me right or wrong. It's your choice.

Curious....do you see me posting positive stuff lately?

I've posted how Sam had played like sh*t.

I've posted how the O-Line had played like sh*t (though they had a much better once-in-a-blue-moon showing recently...probably because we ran the ball more and they seem to do a better job at run-blocking than pass-blocking).

I've posted how sh*tty Brady's playcalling has been.

I've posted how frustrating the DROPS by our Wide Receivers have been.

In fact, the only positivity I've put out was about Zane Gonzales....and we've been looking for a kicker for quite a bit.     Hope he continues to play well.

No.  I have no problem with you as a poster in the least.  Just saying ... You can't expect much from this fan base now given recent (and tbh long term) history.

I would ignore the trolls, tho. Mods get to them eventually... Just report if it's bad and move on... I know that sucks, believe me lol.  And I try to ignore overly negative posts since they just get me down (not saying we need to act like Sam plays well. He doesn't, but it feels like an established fact now lol).

I'm always glad for new posters to be here and plenty of others are too

    • You bring up a good point on the stability part and i would agree that probably will factor into it. But yes, Tepper does have a strong influence on who stays/goes but I still believe ultimately it'is Morgan, Tilis and Canales who will decide.
    • I can always count on yout to put things so delicately lol. I'm still not sold on the fact that Tepper will make them keep him if they don't see him as a long term answer.
    • holy poo... this thread inspired me to keep trying to guess passwords to various alts I've created over the years and I finally got in! I pretty much accepted my fate as a lurker for the last several months because I could not remember my password. I didn't realize that new users couldn't join either, that explains things. I have been around for years under several different monikers, through the good and bad. I too always find myself coming back here even with all of the new social media options for Panther fan engagement. It's simply nostalgic.   I do get extremely annoyed with the same 5-10 posters shitting on Bryce and complaining about everything. It's unfortunate that half of them are mods and that nobody new can join because now I pretty much just come on here and see Bryce / Panther slander. There is barely any positivity to be had. We all watch this team and hang on this forum for entertainment purposes only. We have no control or say in anything. I used to be such a crazy ass fan that would argue with strangers about Cam newton on the internet and at games. Now, as a father of 3, a business owner and someone with way gnarlier life problems - I like to watch football and talk about football as an escape. Not to bitch more. I really like the direction of the team and will root anyone in a Panthers jersey. I live down the street from the Rams practice facility, Matthew Stafford is currently coaching his daughters flag football team in the same program I coach my sons. I have two highly ranked Rams staff members sons on my team. The way we beat them and had them on the ropes in the playoffs has me feeling amazing, and you would think we have the next great thing in Bryce with the way they all speak of him. I'm gonna ride that high and be a delusional fan, I hope that huddle can stick around or get fixed and perhaps I will get back to posting more now that I can log in again. I will do my best to not get banned. Keep Pounding!
