Very different situations. Steve didn't have to watch Jake make the same boneheaded throws for multiple seasons before having to relive it all again with a new team. Sam is a grown ass man both him and Robby are paid well to play this game but Sam is the quarterback he can't just put a hat on and act like nothing happened.

not the point. it's a punk ass move, conduct unbecoming. isn't he a fuging team captain on top of being the NFL's drop leader? did anyone yell at him when he couldn't catch the two-yard passes he's finally hauling in?

Darnold's response is even worse.

Just puts his hat on and sits down.  Doesn't even try to talk to Robby.

You can tell he's gutless and isn't a leader.

That’s what I noticed, looked like he was scared and retreated to the bench when he saw Robby coming back by

to be honest that's a sucker move on anderson's part. you don't see receivers do that.

even steve smith sat down next to jake delhomme and told him he liked him after a 5-INT performance.

poo like that can crack a team.

The funniest part is Anderson aggressively throwing down his helmet and talking poo.

Darnold would snap him in half if he squared up to him.

You think? What an empty take

Darnold is not even a top 40 NFL QB, he simply cannot throw the ball on time to receivers. Huge epic fail on the staff's part and it may get them fired

You're right. But Robbie has dropped a number of balls that hit him in the hands. I'd be fine if we cut them both tomorrow.

(AP) — It had been a while since the Carolina Hurricanes had finished practice, with players coming and going from the locker room. Yet Logan Stankoven was still on the ice, leaving a crowd of reporters patiently waiting at his locker. Such is the dynamic for the 23-year-old as the Eastern Conference's top seed heads into Round 2 of the Stanley Cup Playoffs to face the Philadelphia Flyers. Stankoven has been rolling at nearly a point-per-game pace going back to mid-March, including scoring in every game of Carolina's first-round sweep of Ottawa. Beyond the immediacy of that spotlight, though, is the other piece of Stankoven's story: the Hurricanes are betting he can keep growing into the role as second-line center, coming after spending multiple seasons searching for an answer there.
