You have to wonder if Cam’s Instagram posts he put out prior to being let go by the Panthers in 2020 came up in conversations with Matt Rhule. 
 

Either way, seems like Cam is taking a break from his IG for a minute.

Smart move on Cam's part.  Social media is a meat grinder, especially for those who are already famous.  Cam doesn't need the hassle or the haters.

This could work out to be an absolutely incredible comeback story if it were to work out this season and he gets a multi year extension with us, it could also be the last chance he has to start in this league. He did it to focus on this opportunity….that’s what I’m telling myself anyway.

Why does someone need to delete their IG, FB, whatever to focus on something else? I just don't get that sentiment, unless it's an addiction problem. Like, he can't learn the playbook because he cannot physically stop himself from scrolling all day and night. Idk, just don't see how social media is a distraction unless you are literally on it 24/7.  He's not posting to the 'gram while on the sideline.

Anyways @WarPanthers89, I don't necessarily mean to direct this diatribe at you, it's just I've seen things like this said about distractions or whatever in different places and in regards to different subjects, and it's never really made sense to me so I wanted to ramble on about that subject.
