He can be funny.

He's also a Winston-Salem State Iconic basketball player.

I like him especially when the Cowboys lose.

Who got his coach fired because he hurt his feefees. He’s a hack. Not surprised one bit you’re a fan.

Can’t understand why nobody in the media is acknowledging this is the same team that destroyed SF without Kyler also. I’m guessing they were missing some “key” players on defense too this game? Colt McCoy looked abysmal against us but not against them. Can anyone significant in the media ever just be as rational and unbiased as possible when talking about wins and losses in specifics scenarios. I mean hell Vegas still had them as a decent favorite to win and they were at home but we covered the spread tenfold and still get no respect. Just like old times when this was Cam’s team before. Playoffs here we come!

It was a football move. Were a team that struggles in the red zone and added the greatest red zone threat of all time

they arent wrong about the box office effect at least though. Theres a reason tickets for sunday in the 500 level are selling for $200 a piece now when they were $20 two weeks ago, and I can tell you the return of RiverRaft Ron isnt the reason

None of that cash goes to the Panthers. Those tickets are already sold as far as the team is concerned. That's secondary market value and has no impact on revenues.

I watch it for the dumb takes. I don't watch it for news and information. However, their takes, while often off the wall, aren't always incorrect. This take was just misinformed and the researchers for the show could've found that out quickly.

I was kidding

That used to be the case when it was all printed tickets...

...but with the new electronic only system, and the resale-channel chosen, there can be some hefty fees (as much as 30%) and I'm pretty sure the team does capture some of that fee-revenue.

Mina Kimes and Ryan Clark are the only bearable ones on ESPN

I refuse to watch it or any other entertainment 'experts'. There are better people out there doing good work and I support them. Ellis is a great example. The rest is just a waste of time to me.

As always that's with the 'to each their own' thing. I just refuse to respect any of that BS. Draft time is the dregs of entertainment 'experts' crawling out like cockroaches. Yuck.

Do they not know that the Panthers have PSL's and are sold out every game? The ticket revenue is in hand so no, this isn't about tickets. This is about capitalizing on having a Top 5 defense, Christian McCaffrey, DJ Moore, Anderson, our right tackle, etc. It's about having an ROI measured in wins. If Tepper wanted a losing team, he wouldn't be paying guys.

Sure, they may pocket some cash from jersey sales but it's miniscule compared to what they pocket by WINNING.

Cam was brought here to win and Stephen A. Smith is a tool on this topic. I like him, I like his show, but he seems to firmly believe in what he is saying here and it's beyond idiotic.

SAS said box office but I swear I think he thought blockbuster.

He talked about energizing the team and the fans.  He acknowledged it will sell tickets but was more about the energy he brought.  (IMO of course)
