3 Interviews with Cam Newton....

I've seen 3 interviews now with Cam since joining the Panthers - his introductory press conference, post game on the field, and after the game press conference.  In all three he ended the interview with "Keep Pounding".  Is this new?  Is he trying to make a point?  Or has he always ended his interviews with that phrase?

You never heard of 'Keep Pounding'?

Yes I've heard of Keep Pounding.  Wtf is wrong with you.  I meant is Cam Newton ending every interview with Keep Pounding new because I don't recall that and I think he's trying to make a statement.

Was my wording seriously that poor?

I noticed it too, mentioned it after watching the intro pc, but don’t remember it ever being said, let alone a staple… I do love it, every more with the rumors it was going away. Might could be Cam heard the same rhetoric, knows what it means & took it upon himself to keep it around…

who knows? dgaf, I dig it…

Yeah this is my thoughts exactly and really what I was getting at without putting my own opinion in there....Cam taking it upon himself to single handedly making sure it doesn't die.

    • I assume you are quoting my still. If so, I don't know what your argument is since mine was simply showing a play where Bryce scored a TD against the Rams in the playoffs where another poster used a similar still of Herbert's line to defend his poor performance last night. Like I said, Herbert is a better QB but Bryce wins the game last night for the Chargers. It simply is something he does better than Herbert and would play to his strengths. Someone even said earlier Chargers only win 1 or 2 games this year if Bryce was their QB which is so absurdly laughable it wasn't even worth trying to address. I mean this thread is literally called "Bryce Young is the worst QB in Panther's History" so I understand there is no objective arguments to be had here but I found that amusing.
    • I think his knee would make a good reason to switch to guard IF he returns.  Half don't.  Half of those don't last too long.  The strain on a knee (320lb man) vs speed rushers is more substantial.  So I would keep him if I could on a small contract (he will make $17.5 in 2026 fully guaranteed) and think of him as a possible guard for the post Lewis/Hunt era.  Knee injuries in big men are not invitations to invest in them.
    • I'd give anything to go back to a 4-3 but we are so removed from having the pieces for that. All because Tepper wanted to force this 3-4 on all our coaches.
