This clown will prevent us from going anywhere past the wild card, at BEST. We wont win anything as long as he is the head coach. doesn't matter who the QB is.

Wild card? Pfft. We'd be lucky to ever challenge for that spot.

Five wins a year before the current iteration of the team quits on him is what we're getting. Can't keep turning over the roster until he finds some folks that will hang with him for six. Besides, we're running out of Temple alumni.

*DISCLAIMER* - I am very much in favor of finding out of BC is a NFL tackle.  I have been all along.  However . . .

Gross and Slater had the exact same measurables at the combine.

Except they didn't.

If you believe arm length is that important, that's fine.  However, here's the guy they favor over BC at LT:

Dennis Daley

The guy they have at LT is slower, not as quick, not as strong, not as explosive as BC is.  I just can't make heads or tails of it.  Daley's longer arms are irrelevant if he can't stay in front of his man - which he can't.  I can't fathom why we don't just give him a chance.

If BC comes in, plays LT and lays an egg, fine.  The staff can then go "See?  This is why we don't play him there."  On the other hand, BC sports the best grade at LT we've seen all season in the limited time he's played there.

Isn't that at least worth a long look?

    • 2.7 seconds. If he can get the ball out in under 2.7 accurately to the medium and short routes then they can have a better offense than we saw last year.  Someone said he only had 1.5. That happened more than it should have but that was not the norm for the majority of the snaps. Maybe spending $153 million buys a little better than the weak players mostly involved in those 1.5 fails. Maybe Corbett sucks as a C but let’s at least wait a couple of outings to declare it. If he is adequate at best the OL might become an asset as the year passes. Looking at you Icky. How they help him will be a big part of how well they can operate. I think he needs a lot of help. People were beating him with quickness you have to help him. Unless he just morphs into reliable.  I do think it’s on Young to protect his tackles and himself by making shallower dropbacks. Canales looks to be taking charge of QB operating procedure and pushing it more conventional which I am for.  Question on Young, what is he really good at? Because Canales keeps saying he is going to find what Young is good at and lean into that. So whatever he does best along with handing off plenty seems like the plan. I get afraid when he throws a shallow to the sideline pass of any distance, so they’ll probably do a lot of that.
    • Did we ever get an answer on why pete bypass him for OC?
    • 2010, 2019, and 2022 are maybe top 3.
