Yea I'm not really posting it to blame Cam but Rhule was getting flamed on here when that happened and then everyone was freaking out when Rhule was angry with him on the sidelines.   This just shines a little light on that one specific situation that was definitely getting a lot of flack.

I’d like to hear Cam’s version of that but we won’t

it seems to me Teddy had a different version of Rhule’s stories too

perhaps he souldve brought in his dog PJ

So, why does a coach give the QB an option to throw the screen when the LoS is loaded, and then blame the QB for the coach allowing the option to a screen when the defense is loaded up on the LoS.

It was a 4th and 1. Bills defense loaded the LoS. Coach had Newton in the shotgun for a zone read run play. That zone read run play in the shotgun on 4th and 1 had no chance to deveolp. Newton knew it. Coach allowed to option to a screen, which had a better chance at success and was still a garbage option.

Play calling was garbage on that 4th and 1. Don't blame a QB when you put him in that position. QB sneak. Power run if your OL is so good. Quick out or swing if the CBs are playing off or cheating in. That college garbage 4th and 1 play calling wont work in the NFL.

Coach put QB in a no win 4th and 1 and blamed the QB for not developing a zone read from the shotgun with the entire defense pressed up to the line.

I think we all knew that play was a loss when we saw the shotgun followed by a timeout only to go right back to the shotgun.

David NewtonESPN Staff Writer

Matt Rhule hasn't called out Cam Newton often since the QB returned, but he did on the fourth-and-1 incompletion from midfield with 2:05 left in the first quarter Sunday. "It's a zone-read play. It shouldn't be thrown. There's a bubble in there in case an unblocked blitzer comes. To my point, we had that guy blocked. That's just an error by the quarterback. It should be handoff, first down, or he pulls the ball. Only one guy over there. Just poor execution.''

Or he could have just ran it for a yard like the main play was called.

Matt Rhule’s offense has had horrific situational playcalling for 2 seasons.  So even if that one play was on Cam….it doesn’t change the fact that Rhule sucks.

first drive.  3rd and long and we know we are going for it on 4th yet they throw long.  Incomplete.  Should of played a high percentage play to gain yardage that gave us more options on 4th.  It’s all Matt Rhule.   It’s not Joe Brady.  It’s not Cam.  Rhule is problem #1.

He doesnt normally call the offense though.   That's not something many head coaches are responsible for.  Not unheard of but not commonplace.

Every play runs through his ear.   And if a HC isn’t involved in key moments in the red zone, 4th down, etc?

Hey, Rhule! So, who actually made a block on this play?

I see about 4 defenders running free around their blocks and Ian Thomas laying himself on the ground to give the outside defender and easy look into the backfield. There are 3 to 4 Bills 2 yards in the backfield in half a second.

Not to mention Zylstra doesn't even attempt to block on a bubble screen where there is only 1 defender on an island.

Yeah, looks like that was all Cam's fault you idiot of a coach. Not even smart enough to go to study the tape before you comment on that play. Moron.
