Brady Christensen just had the best game at LT of any Panther this season.

A lot of those sacks came right up the gut. The interior lineman did not block well today.

4 of the 7 sacks came from DEs. 2 from DT and 1 from LB (Minter sack when he was playing contain on Sam).

From what I am seeing from my DVoD Moton and BC were resposnible for at least one each, and the rest (except minter sack) were interior. Miller had a really bad day.

I agree with you to a point. Thing is, we’d have a better idea of just how good BC is if Rhule had played him at his natural position earlier in this season…or started him at one of the guard positions for most of the season since he feels his arms are “too short” to play Left Tackle.

Yep he should have several games of experience at ONE position being LT. He would be playing even better if that were the case. If I recall even Sewell struggled his first couple of starts. BC should be an option for us at LT next year and I want to see Brown play some RG. Miller is a vet that we all knows sucks and doesn’t need to play anymore, same for Daley.

what stats are you using to suggest this? BC was responsible at least 1 hurry and 1 sack. Can you share the stats you are using to track his performance?

Yeah I’m not sure what Zod is seeing…but BC clearly gave up 2 sacks and 2 qb pressures.

Ok so worst case scenario he gave up one pressure and one sack in his second start on a terrible line with a terrible coach against a top pass rusher? Keep playing him at his natural position and he will get better.

i dont disagree with the sentiment you are sharing. I was confused by @Zodcomment on best performance of a LT his year and gave up zero sacks and zero pressures.  There just isnt anything supporting that notion from today's game.

I hope BC can be a LT of the future.

I saw him get abused badly at least a couple times vs Shaq B.

Shaq B should be expected get the upper hand against a 3rd round rookie a LT starting at the position for the first time. I don’t think BC played great, but it went better than I thought it would. Barrett had a sack and one QB hit. I think he would have done even more damage if Erving had started.

    • Two things: 1. Dr. Eric Eager is central to the draft process 2. I know that it was edited, but we didn't hear "Thieneman" one time, not even before the Vikings pick.
    • Why would he sign here as a guard when surely someone would sign him as a tackle?  Assuming he is healthy
    • Went back to watching the highlights. With a sober mind haha. Here is what I saw.    freddie needs to make 1 of those but the rest aren’t on him.    Slavin was BBBBAAAD again last night. Not sure what is going on with these game one Slavin gafs.    miller was ok but had his worst game in the playoffs so far.    nikishin was no good. His his awful turnover led to the first goal at the end of the first period that just can’t happen. ghost was beat like a drum multiple times last night, including the go-ahead goal at the end jarivs wont shoot. He is either hurt or he is struggling mentally and I think it could be a combination of both. He passed up a wide open net on the power-play only to pass it to no one and cleared it himself.     Svech played well. He is getting zero help on that line.    aho. Worst game as a pro. I mean that. He won’t shoot it, passes go to no one and turns it over repeatedly.  He did exactly what they did against Montreal game one when Miller had a turnover. Aho left his man to go help and left the golden Knight player wide open in front of Freddie.  If I was Rod, you Tell Aho when that thing hits your stick you fire it  someone needs to sit him down just him in a room and ask what’s going on. He seems soft, timid and has zero fire.   canes could have won that game   There isn’t a gap between these two teams  they are dead even   Carter Hart’s gonna get lit up in this series. We can beat that guy. the consensus last night was our defense played horrible and our stars won’t score.  clean the defense up. Tell the top line to shoot it everything and we’ll win tomorrow night.   Possibly convincingly.
