Slightly ot but he's absolutely playing his ass off.  If we can get anything like that then sign me up.  Thanks to him Cincinnati might get their first playoff win since Super Mario Bros 3 was a hot new video game.

Great move by Cincy not to get bossed into taking an OT because it’s “what you’re supposed to do” and taking the WR instead

Howell sucks rod. UNC sucks rod. Take off the Tarheel colored glasses and explain why you think Howell is a good pick.

There were at least 3 ACC QBs that were better than Howell.

Brother, I’m not a Tarheel fan and do not pull for the local teams in any sport except the Carolina Panthers.

I wouldn’t mind drafting him...if we can trade down and still pick him up. There is always a rush for QBs though. Somehow I’m guessing Rhule won’t draft a QB. He will have to double down on Sam.

I don’t see Rhule hitching his career on Darnold. Year 3 is going to be a do or die season for him. Good chance he goes panic mode and drafts a QB, probably Pickett.

I will say it again and will do so until April.  Rhule drafts pickett then he will be on IR by mid season.  No way he selects pickett and puts him on the bench.  He is the starter from the jump

Howell is going thru the same thing the panthers are . Terrible coaching . And still put up numbers that’s Dan compete with any college QB . He’s no scrub like y’all make him out to be . He has potential. Best deep ball passer in the draft by far . Check how many tds he has over 40 yards crazy

My biggest fear is Rhule drafts one of these QBs at 6 instead of us grabbing a stud O-lineman to try and save his job. Rhule should have to live or die by Darnold for trading for him and exercising his option.

If Pickett is there when we draft Rhule is taking him

    • Yeah I think he's just talking continuity it's not really an endorsement. Also I would think CarolinaHuddle of all places would understand using "we" for the team you follow. I can't STAND when dorks do the "Oh so you play for them then? Hurr hurr"
    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
