I've said this several times, but last year when we traded down from our 2nd round slot (twice I might add), and passed on 5 tackles and 3 interior lineman. Fitt ended up tacking TMJ at 58. So far he has 17 receptions for 138 yards in 13 games. I don't blame the player, but he has literally had no impact on the team this season.

Imagine if we had taken a solid O-line starter in round 2, BC in round 3, and managed to get a blue chip lineman in round one of the 2022 draft. We could arguably be on the verge of having the best O-line in the division.

I want Linderbaum at center. We all saw the value of a solid center for years in Kalil and BC has looked serviceable at LT. Unfortunately, if Rhule stays as HC, we will trade down, aquire some 2nds and 3rds, end up with a middle round guard and some UDFA from Baylor or Temple or someone he scouted as a walk on and that will be our 2022 offensive line.

Plus,most Pro Scouts have Neal rated as an NFL Right Tackle not Left Tackle.

It wouldn't have made a difference. Rhule believes Erving is the best LT and Miller and Jordan are the best guards on the team regardless of what the eye test says. We should know what we have in Brown and BC right now and we don't. That failure is Rhules and his alone.

someone that's 6-7 350 i feel is prone to injuries. wouldn't touch him. Being that tall too those knees ain't going to last that rookie contract. I know we need a left tackle, but line play can be improved with a great center (see kalil early on). If we could nab the best center and have him for ten years starting every game and quarterbacking the line, i'd take that. But you don't take a center that high and we don't have a center.

You take the tackle. You can find starting quality C in the draft in rounds 2-4. Same for guards.

All of the trade back talk to get other picks is great except for one thing. All of these guys care going to be gone by pick 10 or so. When I see let's trade back to pick 14 or 15, none of these difference makers for our line will be there. We traded too many picks and now we are simply going to have to bite the bullet and stay where we are. And I'm fine with
