I just feel like passing on Fields just to draft Pickett next year is a horrendous move.

Bucs are actually leaving open the possibility that Brady doesn’t stay retired which is what I’m expecting to happen. 
 

Meanwhile we’re stuck with Darnold, PJ and whoever else Rhule decides he can “fix”.

I could probably work out a deal for Darnold. The  guy has something special about him. Just look at the first 3 games of the panthers season. Do it bucs. Make it happen. You won't regret it.

Does it really matter who we have at QB if Brady is the QB in Tampa? If he's there, free agents will show up. 

I think he's done though.

Drafting Pickett in the 1st round is a horrendous move period IMO.

Agreed I hope they change their minds. I was against trading for a veteran, but at this point I’d rather do that.
