If you have a heart you root for the Bengals, if you have a brain you bet on the Rams....

No fault of Joe Burrow but I am already tired of the media slob fest and as such am pulling for the Rams. Also, a Bengals win just furthers the gap between teams who have won a SB and ones who have not as it relates to the Panthers. Eventually we’re gonna be one of a very few teams left without one. It’s annoying. Go Rams.

Key is which team scores a TD first.

If the Bengals score a TD first, I see this going down the wire.

If the Rams get ahead, I see the Bengals playing catchup all game long but just not getting over the hump.

Rooting for the Bengals but gut feeling tells me it will be the Rams coming out on top.

(hope that gut feeling ends up being indigestion, though)

Wow.  I find that take interesting, since all of the media I have taken in has been 80% slanted towards the Rams and Rams player storylines.  Joe Burrow has been a convenient side note.

On another note, I wonder what the "on field energy" will be like before the game.  I will never forget Pat Kirwan when we were in the big game against the Broncos.  Leading up to the game, he had chosen the Panthers.  But when he was on the field and watching the teams warm up, he changed his pick to the Broncos.  He said you could tell how much more prepared and focused the Broncos were.

Well it's either that or have to watch Matt Stafford's wife Karen make a spectacle of herself if he wins a ring. Go Bengals.

Stafford put up with poo for years I won’t be mad if they win

Stafford also didn't have to sign 2 separate extensions to stay in Detroit.  I don't really have much sympathy for him in that regard.  He chose to play there after his rookie deal.

Cincinnati fans have been stuck with the Bengals since the 70s.

I hear you though.  Neither team winning really bothers me.
