Nah, I just wanna see you cry.

Sorry to disappoint you, but I stopped expecting the Panthers to do anything even remotely intelligent quite some time ago. It would be impossible to disappoint me. I fully expect this organization to make the dumbest moves possible.

Every QB sneak that comes up short... Pickett's charge failed once again.

Yow I didn't even think of that! Charge down the field getting into the RedZone only to get decimated. Pickett's charge fails again.

To me that name sounds like an invitation to opposing secondaries. "Just pick it"

I think there might be one qb in this draft who could have an impact on the NFL level, but he is a project (Willis).  Rhule is not drafting a project.

I think they should just go ahead and trade someone or something for Minshew and be done with it--I think he is underrated and is about as good as we can get.  Draft the OL, sign an OL, and enter the season with that.

Yeah, even Rule can see (at least I hope he can see) that he doesn't have the luxury of years to develop a QB. He's on borrowed time. Whoever he gets has to have an immediate impact.

You kno what bro... I wouldnt b too mad about Minshew.

I actually think we could overachieve with that option. Just dont kno what we'd be willing to give up for him.

Easy equation if you factor in our defense. Bring someone in who is capable of putting up 23-28 points a game and keep him protected. Darnold last year alone threw more interceptions than Minshew has in his entire career combined.

Startling side note I just found out: Since Sam has come into the NFL his td/int numbers are literally 54/52.

26/13 his last year of college.

31/9 his freshman year though. He needs to talk back into that. Asap.

Pickett though... I get the impression he's going to suffer from the same thing that plagues Darnold. Turnovers.

    • Funny enough, those good games Rico had were when Canales finally put BC at RG. Once BC got hurt, our run game turned to crap again (outside of the GB outlier game)
    • When I say elite, I am talking Bowers and Tony Gonzalez type can't miss prospects. The ones that are the complete package (good athleticism, good blocking, knows how to position body for contested catches, able to run a complete route tree). I also wasn't big on Warren last year (although he at least had the college production) and wasn't sure on Loveland (didn't do enough research on him but was impressed with his route running). I just think TE is a luxury pick for us with how many positions we have that are void of talent. Now, if Sadiq is the best player (by a good margin) our front office thinks is available at 19, then I understand taking him. My worries with Sadiq is if he has to be used like a Pitts, Engram, etc. type TE where they get lined up in the slot because they can't block LBs or Dlinemen. And if that is what happens, it's pretty much like drafting an athletic tall receiver that isn't capable of running a complete route tree. And for how many freaks do we have... you do realize we drafted bum ass XL because we thought he was an athletic freak. Turns out that athleticism doesn't mean crap when you are dumb as rocks, can't run routes, and can't catch the ball...  I feel like we have been drafting guys that are displaying elite athleticism at the combine over college production (and I think that has shown why a lot of our drafts prior to last year have sucked)
    • He'll be out for 6-9 months at a minimum, possibly even 12 months and he'll never recover the explosion he once had - if he even comes back (I think it ends the career of like 20% of players that suffer it). If the research I did on the injury is correct (it was a while ago).
