I’m honestly surprised at the package it took to get Russ.

I thought it would be much better. Lock is a throw away. Shelby Harris is good but positional value there is low. Their 1st this year is 9th in a weak QB draft and next year they’ll likely be picking in the 20’s…

I assume they now have ammo next season with their 2 1st rounder and 2nd rounders to move up if needed. But yeah, I thought it would’ve taken more

I agree *expect one huge factor- Wilsons health is a unknown and after getting hit more than Cam *could become a huge issue. But man Wilson, this is pain........Hes a elite team carrying QB, maybe what 5-6 around....Hes a pure winner and 4th quarter magic is best in NFL history.

I think if hes healthy and remains that way, one great deal for Denver. I did see were Noah Fant was included, but that doesnt change this haul enough. Man Id think Wilson would cost more than Watson, texans is bluffing with their BS 3 1sts plus elite players plus 3s 5s etc. Pound sand and pay him 35 million to stay away AGAIN 2022 yr.

Wilson has been maybe the best QB I've ever seen at avoiding the big hit.  His injury last year was a complete fluke.  He broke his finger following through on a throw, and it hit a guys helmet or something.

There is no way he's taken more punishment than Cam did, who was used like a power back AND took hits in the pocket.

I believe hes the leader in hits, here is one link 2nd in sacks form 2010-2019, he ran waaaay more than Arod.

heres another, seems hes in the top three every year in hits, knock down, hurries, etc etc. https://www.fantasypros.com/nfl/advanced-stats-qb.php?year=2020

He is super smart about not getting the full force, but the guy has been the most touched player by far. For a five year period seahawks had a panther 2021 OL and he got punished hardcore. Hes paid one hell of price, even small hits add up as you age.....

    • Idk man, I think it’s necessary.  There’s people working 9-5s everyday that get told poo about what they aren’t and what they’re not capable of and they’re working for scraps.  These guys are making millions.  People are watching and invested because their team and fandom is a part of their identity and a big source of pride.  When someone like Bryce comes in and is given chance after chance after chance after proving he is not worthy of the position he’s being gifted, and he continues to be the biggest reason above any that we are losing, yeah…  I think it’s fair to call a spade a spade.  Am I saying Bryce the person is trash?  Bryce the person is a piece of poo?  Absolutely not.     I came up in an era, especially in basketball, where if you were fuging up people heckled the poo out of you.  I played in rec leagues as a teen where the fuging parents were calling kids trash and yelling poo like “TURNOVER!!!  TURNOVER!!!”  “CANT DRIBBLE!”  “CANT SHOOT!”  And that’s adults screaming that poo to kids like we were in the fuging Rucker lol.🤣🤣🤣  I went on to play basketball at a collegiate level and with professional players in different settings.  What those experiences as a kid taught me was to see if there is any merit to what people are saying, and if there is, then work my ass off til they can’t say that anymore.  Come back better, tougher, harder.  And I did.  If kids can figure that poo out, an adult calling another adult who is bad at his job while making millions and millions of dollars will be just fine.
    • I have tried to like this team, lord knows I have tried. BY9 is a nice young man, if I had a daughter he can take her to prom, but he ain't QB1 and he's not Cam or Delhomme Chuba is a average RB, he isn't Stephen Davis, he isn't J-Stew McMillan has the makings of a good WR, but he isn't 89/Moose D. Brown is a great player, but if the game was on the line I want Kris Jenkins       I miss this brand of football, even in the bad Jake games the games were entertaining It has been nearly 8 years now of watching numb football
