If we trade for Watson, your Offensive Line:

LT  Christensen

LG  Free Agent (Norwell?)

C  Elflein

RG  D. Brown

RT Moton

Bro, if we trade for Watson he has a 35 guaranteed salary that has to fit into the cap. That would bring the cap space to like -15,809,076......... Going to have to use prayers to block as a RG....

Definitely won’t be paying draft picks for a while but the OL is not getting fixed with this trade

I know--they will (probably) have to trade some big contracts to make this work--Thompson?  CMC?

I think Dave Tepper is gonna charm the hell outta Deshaun and his agent

The Texans ownership was a disaster and he knows how important an owner that will do whatever it takes to win is

Just because you will do whatever it takes to win doesn't mean you have the ability to win. Teppers decisions so far don't really give that warm fuzzy feeling that everything is going to be alright.

If you don't think the prosecutor intentionally punted then you don't understand it.

I just told you the prosecutor intentionally punted and laid out the reasons why. Normally a prosecutor would just decline yo prosecute such a sorry case, but she didn’t want to face the ire of the media lynch mob, so she took it to the grand jury instead and didn’t put up enough to get a true bill issued because she didn’t want to get stuck prosecuting a shitty case.

Sorry you don’t understand.

    • I'm right there with you, brother. I've been a Panther fan since the day the team was awarded to the Carolinas.  We've had some good years, a couple of great years, as well as some low periods and no consecutive winning seasons. But I never thought I'd see such a period as we have over the past several years.   It has gotten to the point of being rather apathetic in watching them. In fact, I told my wife before the Miami game I was watching just to see what new and creative way they lose another game. And early on, it looked like they would. But damned if Miami wasn't more creative than the Panthers.   I'm now older than my Dad when he died (he was 65) and, like you, I've wondered if I'll ever see them have another winning season. I'd sure like to think I will.
    • again, I am not his employer, I dont follow his stuff or read any of it including social media, but he has been employed long enough where someone thinks he is doing a good job, not disagreeing he isnt an moron but I am not calling for anyones job for being a moron when it really doesnt affect me

Clowney likely to play it looks based on practice as well. Cornelius, Diggs, Kneeland, and Smith were limited all week. Mingo likely not going to be able to play. Dante Fowler Jr missed practice with an illness Thur + Fri. I imagine he'll suit up as well.
