Deshaun Watson

I'm hearing rumors that Deshaun Watson is willing to waive the no trade clause for the Carolina Panthers...... can anyone confirm this?

My theory is panthers are planning something big as far this trade goes and the free agency market for an elite offensive lineman. If what they say is true about Watson only wanting to go to a team with a good offensive line then it would make sense for them to go after someone in free agency considering they will probably have to give up alot of draft equity to aquire Watson because they sure as poo aren't going to find a day 1 LT starter in the latter part of the draft.  And now that they've restructured pat Elfleins contract to create more cap space....sounds to me like they have someone in mind in free agency? Maybe some like terron armstead which I'm also hearing rumors panthers would be a possible destination for him 🤔🤔🤔

Gutting this team of all of its blue chip players and multiple first round picks wouldn't be worth losing for Watson. He's good but we won't be able to build the team that way. And with his downtime its no guarantee he'll be as good as he once was on a new team and new environment. Players aren't always good no matter what situation they're in. Who's to say he would want to leave in a few years?

Rhule's not gonna be able to cheat his job security. Dude needs to show he can build this team.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
