Yeah, I'd imagine he was a Falcon's fan growing up. That could be a problem for Carolina. Wasn't expecting the Falcons to jump into this conversation. Not sure how either they or the Saints could make the numbers work and still have anything resembling a good team though. At least we have cap space.

Has Watson seen Atlanta’s receivers… this obviously isn’t about being a contender if he wants to go to Atlanta….

It’s about whichever city he can get his jollies off in… New Orleans and Atlanta probably do it for him a little more.

Exactly

Atlanta has absolutely NOTHING of value to offer them, besides draft picks.  If they want picks and players we are the top choice, and its not really particular close.

Again, that doesn’t really matter.

If Watson wants Atlanta they’ll figure something out. They could send them Pitts or Terrell and they have the 8th pick.

Rather him be there than new Orleans. Atlanta is a disaster too

Oh 100%

I actually kind of want to see how Atlanta ends up doing with Watson after giving up a decent haul. They already have no one on that roster and then they’d have no 1st rounders… it could be tough for them

But then wouldn't they have to trade Matt Ryan after he just restructured? Boy. This is getting confusing as hell.

    • The thing is, Stroud's needle has been moving down where Young's has been moving up. Situationally, most would give the nod to Stroud over each of their tenures, so overall most are going to be more critical of him at the moment.
    • Actually we like to run more than most, and the dropoff isn't that drastic. We seem to be pretty much middle of the road. The Facons, Bucs, Browns and Bengals are the ones where running drops off markedly when they start trailing. Our line on the chart, like I said, is somewhat middle of the road.  As to whether or not if it's good or bad is anyone's guess by looking at this. I suspect people who like Old school football won't be upset at this at all. The thing is, we would have to know the game scripts and the situations, as running and or passing making sense is contextual. I know that I haven't necessarily been enamored with Canales's situational play calling. At the end of the day, I believe in using the run to set up the pass and the pass to set up the run, and trying to keep the opposition off balance, but I still believe that you should run it down their throats if they can't stop it.
    • Hey alright baseball is awesome.  I cheer for the Braves but I watch all 30 teams.  I pay for MLB TV and both local teams because I'm insane.🙃
