Waiting for Watson to pick a team is like waiting for Guns n Roses to release their new album.

Chinese Democracy was kinda disappointing ngl. Axl just can’t shred like he used to. Too much cocaine and whiskey. I know the feeling.

Either Watson is indecisive or the Texans are stirring the pot.

Imminent. Can't decide. Waiving NTC. Needs more time to decide who to waive the NTC for. The leaks are always about Watson not making up his mind or all in on a team. Nothing about the Texans negotiations stalling or the Falcons not getting a definitive decision from the Texans.

Sources in the Watson camp would not paint him like that. Bad narrative for Watson and his PR team is already trying to clean him up.

These reporters need to stop listening to and running with their Texans sources.

So, looks like the Falcons got used up by the Texans as leverage. Never saw that coming.

Maybe some truth to this, the more teams the better for the Texans. They could also stalemate if it comes down to 2 and one of the two teams could just give up. Then Watson could not waive his NTC for the one team left haha. ugh

At some point, teams have to turn their attention the draft/free-agency and building their teams based on what they know they are going to have. This applies to the Texans too. The longer this goes on, the less time they have to arrange their draft board based on their new draft picks.

    • Only thing I really see it doing is possibly making Tepper listen if a different play caller can't run the offense because of limitations. New hire, someone who hasn't been watching Bryce for the past 3 years up close may be able to talk some sense if he sees that he isn't able to get the job done.

    • Not sure there is anything that will do that outside of Young actually being a legit top 12 QB. Where he won’t need excuses made for him.  It is just as likely to multiply them.
