Wow that's a lot for him.

Guy's a weapon for sure, but I've always seen him as a bit limited in his route tree and feasting off of his speed and the deep ball. Tua and Teddy aren't the guys to make that happen.

yea I think it's a huge price to pay for a guy who benefitted from a great scheme and QB. He's a fast WR for sure, one of the fastest ever. But that's a huge price to pay for a 28yo WR with a checkered past.

This came out of nowhere.  Hill is a beast but I can't help but feel Chiefs won this trade but that may be wrong.

Maybe if the Dolphins had Herbert/Burrow on the cheap and you want that 3 year window to get a ring..Tua and Teddy though, I dunno if they can even make use of Tyreek's full skill set

    • I like the approach Morgan takes in free agency where we fill holes with at least serviceable players and use the draft for BPA. So, I expect us to bring in a Safety, 1 really good LB and 1 kinda so so vet LB in case they lose faith in Wallace, an edge rusher, and with ickey's injury I think we will be the team that overpays for a LT like Rasheed Walker with the plan to move him to RT depending on Ickey's health and how long Moton wants to play.
    • Look at Rashid Saheed contract for 2024. He was more productive than Coker but probably a good reference. I think it was 1 year 5.2 million.
    • I expect the same strategy as we did last year. 3 year deals for guys around 25 to 28 years old and have the cap number be lower in 2026 and back load the contracts for 2027 and 2028 when our cap space is 100 million in 2027 and 360 million in 2028. With the years of terrible drafting this team had under Rhule and Fitterer and the lack of picks from all the panic QB trades has made it where we have few long-term contract commitments on the roster.  I'm sure there's probably some restructures and cuts we can make to give ourselves some more room this year if we need it but overall, our cap situation is in a good spot under Dan and Brandt.  I think we'll be pretty big spenders again this year. With us making the playoffs and being in a weak division I see Morgan being pretty aggressive this offseason.
