I've never been less excited about a draft in Panthers history.

That includes 2009 & 2010 when they didn't have a first round pick too. Maybe it's because they don't have a 2nd or 3rd round pick? Maybe it's because I have zero faith in this clown show of a coaching staff?

Anyways, I really hope they don't pick a QB. None of the QB's in this draft class are worth the #6 overall pick and I believe any QB drafted this year will turn out a lot like Josh Rosen did for the Cardinals. This coaching staff is not equipped to develop a rookie QB and I think they know it considering they passed on drafting a QB for two straight years already.

I just hope they pick a player that will outlast this shitty coaching staff and be a part of the future. Picking a LT is definitely the best move, but I'd be cool with other positions than LT if the talent/upside is there.

If they trade down and grab additional picks, even better. Still a lot of holes on this roster. Could they net a first round pick next year? Wow that would be great!

But either way, I don't really give a sh*t anymore. It's going to take years to dig out of the mess the Panthers are currently in.

Agree. Zero day two picks a big part of it but the bigger picture for me is the reality that I've simply never been less interested in the Panthers as a whole as I am currently.

It's Rhule. Any rookie we get is going into an awful coaching situation and he better hope doesn't get ruined.  We've got a guy with his head out the door already doing college speaking tours.  

And we've spent so much capital on what we know are already fails so the 2nd & 3rd rounders are technically busts already.

The QB class sucks the staff sucks. Yeah yeah yeah. We're still here. We'll still be talking about the draft. Worst case scenario is picking 6 and then nothing else until the fourth round. I don't see this likely unfolding. This regime is the definition of impatient. They will get more picks and I think they will swing at a QB even if it's in the second round.

the ultimate Matt Rhule move will be Rhule trading away 2023 picks to get picks in the 1st or 2nd round.  Fugging the next HC.  And clueless Tepper has the Panthers looking like that failed project down in Rock Hill.

My draft excited this year is at an all time low. I just cannot make myself have confidence that the Panthers will make wise decisions but  will do something stupid trying to make up for the lack of draft picks.

The problem is a lot bigger than Matt Rhule. Who chose to give him a huge 7 year contract, gave him full control over the football operations, and chose to retain him when the entire rest of the world can clearly see he's in way over his head?
