Yeah, I guess the ship was already in motion and it's too late to turn....or this is a way to put pressure on Tepper and waste taxpayer dollars at the same time.

My limited understanding is that the county may step in and do what Rock Hill couldn't or wouldn't do to make it happen...they just have to beg and renegotiate with Tepper. Maybe this is a little in motion and good faith in those discussions? IDK, trying to make sense of governments is a path to insanity from what I have seen.

Here in Wake Co. They build a off ramp for a neighborhood that was stoped for like 2yrs (Wendell) but after some time the neighborhood is being built now and I'm sure they are happy they went and built the off ramp anyways.

That’s my understanding as well. It certainly would explain this latest development.

It happened in Colorado. Brand new interchange between I-70 and CO58 to support a new Cabela's that never happened.

      Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.

      We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).

      I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
