I will go on record as saying that I believe Tyler Van Dyke may be the best QB in that class.

He looks really good to me.  I am going to try and watch Miami and coastal Carolina games this season

but the #1 has to be stroud.  That kid got remarkably better during the season and it insanely accurate

From a talent standpoint, the man we just drafted belongs with the top guys in this projected draft. And he wasn’t surrounded by 1st rounders like Young and Stroud.

Corrals biggest issue was his character assassination, which most likely will be much ado about nothing (like Cam being a “thug” was).

Stroud is a good prospect but is he an elite prospect? I am not convinced of that yet.

Like what I've seen of Phil Jurkovec.

DJ Uiagalelei? Not so much.

Also saw loads of people raving about Cameron Rising after the Manning passing academy.

Van Dyke and Leary both have a chance to be franchise guys. Both dudes can really spin the ball. Jurkovich on the other hand, I have not been impressed with.

Stroud seems to have the tools, but his team is so loaded and so much more talented than any of those Big 10 schools he goes against.  That is one of the reasons it is so hard to get a read on OSU QBs.

Just like this year and the year before the hype will slowly fizzle and we will return to the same hand wringing over the flaws of the top quarterbacks.

That's one of the draft knocks I've seen on the whole process is that the more film there is the more to pick at when it doesn't need pickin...Justin Herbert was a big example of that.

This place hated Justin Herbert with a passion. But hey it's a crazy concept to just wait and see how these prospects perform and meet expectations in their upcoming season.

    • Kon is a damn stud but it’s not any individual player’s team. All of the “big 3” are incredibly and equally important IMO. And LaMelo makes Kon way better (look at his shooting splits with LaMelo on the floor vs without. Also Moose and even Miles are important cogs. Honestly think we’re 1 piece away from being legit top contenders if the young guys continue to develop the next year or two. I trust this FO to be patient to find that piece within the next 2-3 years and not force anything. Plenty of time and even without adding anyone we have the pieces in place overall already to compete with any team.
    • We lost 2 very close and winnable games against top teams in the league while missing 3 critical players despite 2 of our top 3 players shooting unusually terribly. Still split the 4 games that Moose and Miles were suspended, winning the most important one vs the Hawks. This ain’t yo mama’s Hornets man. Hopefully Coby can go soon but even if not Moose and Miles are huge additions for our starting lineup and bench rotations. Schedule is pretty tough after these next 4 but I think we’ll take care of business the next 4 to get to .500 then finish slightly above .500 after that to get a 7 or 8 seed. Keep it rolling boys. Also Kon is having an insanely historic rookie season as a shooter. Like truly can’t believe my eyes watching this kid level of historic. Man what a fuging home run of a draft pick and exactly what this team needed to take that next step forward. He’s gonna shatter the rookie 3 point and franchise 3 point records. Has a real chance to be the 2nd best 3 point shooter ever or dare I say even get to Curry’s level (as a pure shooter, Curry obviously has way more to his game that has made him a GOAT).
    • I hear you but yeah like you say, above average. His numbers were good. You’d think it would be a no brainer. Anyhow… I guess the new staff is also fine with him walking?    I hope if we sign him there isn’t some secret issue of his that led to him not being valued.
