I believe that poster was saying that only Rhule looking competent can end this thread. At least that's how I'm interpreting it, as any other option is just treating the manifestation and not the underlying issue.

By Sam Delusional do you mean when he did that podcast interview and said he felt like he was doing well? I listened to that one and it sort of shocked me as well. I was thinking there for a minute that maybe I was mental and I completely missed his play in games last year and was delusional myself but went back and saw some clips and realized it was just Sam who was.

I am unhappy with the lack of on field success or even clear direction of the franchise going forward. 

I blame the current head coach as the person most responsible for that outcome.

Doing so is no comment on his worth as a human being or taste in ice cream flavors. (If you don't like butter pecan you're subhuman, end of story)

I believe my position is based on evidence, not emotion, and is entirely rational.

Prove me wrong.

That’s just foolishness. Less than 1% of the fanbase would actually be upset if we start winning and kicking ass in the division. Some people will say anything to try to be different.

I'm responding to your response to his silly claim lol. The pro Rhule crowd have gone off the deep end as much as anyone else. Winning will erase most if not all of this mud slinging.

His ceiling is still a guy that will get his ass kicked in the playoffs, just like he got his ass kicked in college when he actually faced legit competition

Yeah that's what I worry about as well then we are stuck with just mediocre all over again which is why we moved on from Ron. But tbh the Rhule hype from some folks just doesn't make any sense. It's like Chip Kelly without the wins or playoffs or really any success early on. But folks keep going to bat for these results like he's their dad lol.

      What?!?!?! Chark's 1,000 yard season was 4 years before he played for us and he only had 525 yards in 15 games as our #1 WR.  Dude has 3,100 yards in 7 seasons, he's the literal definition of a JAG and you think he is better than half our current WR room? T-Mac is literally already better than Chark was at his peak, which again, was years before he ever even put on a Panthers uniform, and there is a real argument to be made that XL and Coker were both better as rookies than Chark was for us in his one season here.

      Im glad we're starting low. It's nonsensical to put us at 28 IMHO based on objective things IMHO (I think 21-24) is far more appropriate but whatever. Washington was at the bottom last year FWIW.  In 2003, Sports Illustrated said our best chance to win the division was to transfer to the ACC. In 2015, everyone wrote us off as a team that snuck into the playoffs with a losing record in 2014 and lost our best WR in TC (Kelvin Benjamin). All these videos are fodder for conversation, but this prediction has no more validity than saying the Panthers are making the SB bc we're starting the season against the Jaguars again. If Bryce plays like he did down the stretch we will end up the season just fine. This roster is much better than it has been the last 2 seasons. No one knows who any season will ultimately end up, but this team is finally being built in the right way, and the idea that this roster can't compete this year is as insane as being it was when we were gaslit in 2023 that we were a rookie QB from winning the division with that roster.
