I honestly thought CJ Henderson would be the opposite CB from Horn given his improvement during camp. Jackson is better suited for the nickel given his size limitations. We're also very thin at the LB position, we are one injury away from a LB disaster.

Snow said Horn will be our nickel.  I agree with this approach. horn can cover every route thrown at him.

So I haven't followed TMJ much but has it been the injuries that has really made him completely disappear? He had the good preseason last year and then pretty silent during regular season. He seems to be a puzzle to me at this point. Do you think you he will put it all together this year and make an impact? That is if he stays healthy of course. I hope he does.

I only recall hearing Bozeman being mentioned specifically one time during preseason coverage and it wasn't great. Did I miss something or is the "Bozeman is the second coming of Ryan Kalil" just huddle lore?

He was a solid player with the ravens and efflein is not good so the signing was looked at as a significant upgrade.

Lol at the fact PJ climbed up to #2 due to attrition. That man has a 4 leaf clover up his ass

Side Note: When the Steelers announced their first depth chart, Mason Rudolph was listed as the backup behind Mitch Trubisky. Kenny Pickett was listed as the number three.

They later changed it to show Pickett as the backup and announced that the first one had  Rudolph second due to a "clerical error".

(Ouch 😬)

Marshall is quickly becoming expendable. Still lingering injuries, I hope he just needs 1 more week. Geez.

I'm excited to see Shenault activated hopefully vs the Giants.

I have no idea what the deal is with Marshall. If we don't see any real production out of him this season(similar to last year), I suspect we just move on in the offseason.

His original value was tied to somebody that doesn't work here anymore.

The idea was that Joe Brady not only knew him from having worked with him at LSU, but also would know how to ideally use him in his offense.

Clearly that last part wasn't true to begin with, but Brady being gone pretty much destroys whatever was left of the originally perceived notion.

So now what?

I really hope it wasn't that simple. Although apparently Phil Snow saying Darnold looks like Matt Stafford was enough to go after him.

I think TMJ is injury prone and the fact that he cannot get separation at the NFL level is not gonna bode well for his future. He is supposedly a 4.4 sec guy but I haven't seen any indication of that kind of speed at all.

Injuries are pretty much impossible to predict.

But with that said, when you take a guy with a rep for getting injured, and he gets injured, well... 😕

    • You’re playing madden we’re talking real football stuff…. He does have you seen his special on internet he def thinks he’s getting paid
    • Without the team having an identity kinda hard to predict what they value.  They either are really trying to build a balanced team, or preparing for another swing at qb if Bryce doesn’t pan out. Seems like we value the o line but the $ spent there has been underwhelming besides Lewis, you could say it’s because of injuries but still hasn’t been worth the investment. as already stated, the whole handling of Bryce young as a whole has been ass backwards, we spent the years we’re supposed to take advantage of having a qb with a lower cap hit, building the team up to be adequate. now It appears, key word appears, the saints have done it correctly, which is painful to even think about. Regardless, I hope the front office has paid attention to qb contracts recently, such as Tua, Kyler, Daniel jones(pre colts) and don’t settle for subpar qb play at franchise qb rates
    • This is the flaw in your logic.  Cutting 3 of our best players will somehow move us from whatever we are to "compete". Even the most Young super fans are not predicting a ceiling above top 10-12, and that will not nearly cut it.  Someone will need to break the log jam of QBs getting nothing or North of 50. Our qb is at best a middle ground, lets hope it will be us that also manage to pay the worth at about 100 over 3 years.  And before you jump me, yes that is only of he improves.
