We were pretty clearly at the bottom talent wise in 2020 and in 3 years, who have we added? Brown, Chinn, Horn, BC and Iky? Is that really enough to offset the 3 years of draft picks that every other team has added. We lost to two bad teams without key starters when we were healthy. Imagine if we played the Bills right now or any of the truly top teams.

The talent of this team is absolutely overrated in the Huddle. We talked about Horn as a top CB in the NFL and CJ as a steal and that our secondary was top 5. After what 3 penalties and no INTs against such amazing QBs as Jones and Brissett and WR juggernauts in Cleveland and NY, does anyone really think our secondary is amazing and that Horn is a top 5-10 CB? Is our OL top as was mentioned? Is Baker top 10 material?

CMC is our only truly elite player. We have some more talent but he’s our only game changer. Rhule and the rest are bad, but it would take a historically great coach to turn this talent into a perennial playoff team. Are we close? Not really but add a great QB and a great coach and we could be, but we don’t have either and the rest of the team is not talented enough to really compete.

Here’s to hoping for a new staff and GM that know QBs so we can draft our new Cam. That’s the way out of the hole. If I look at the winless teams, I’d say we are competing with Indy, Houston and Atlanta for bottom of the barrel.

Agreed 100000%. We have 1 elite player in CMC(yet we don’t use him). We have 3 good players in Moore Moton and Burns. That…is…it. Chinn should be elite but the staff doesn’t use him properly. Horn and Brown are as overrated as it gets.  Jackson could be elite but can’t stay healthy. Henderson is a JAG that Would sell insurance if it paid more. Shaq is a jag. Luvu is a cool story but he is a jag.

Jags are ok to have, most team only average 3-4 blue chip players. What you do with your jags are what make good coaches.

The Chargers have a LOADED roster with blue chip players and still couldn't out talent the Chiefs this week.
