lol.  Looks like they are on their way to a funeral

It’s honestly so sad and depressing to watch the team already coming out of the locker room silent and beaten. All starts with the head coach and team captains. Rhule has always wanted a qb and team with zero emotions so he has a easier time controlling them. Exactly why he shipped Cam out first thing and Sam was his guy. Football is about passion and fire. One reason i let myself get excited about mayfield. But seems like they’ve already neutered him and told him if he wanted to be the starting quarterback he’d have to play flatlined and hold his emotions in. I just miss the passion jake and cam played with. It’s contagious

Jake's running expressions after his long bomb touchdowns were the best.  It was amazing how many splash plays we got used to with him and Cam.  Now every time there's a big 50+ yarder, it feels surreal and like some type of fluke lol.

Also hilarious - we've lost to them in consecutive seasons - last year to a lame duck coach who was inevitably getting fired and whom had a personal beef with Rhule because he tried to get the Giants to hire him instead of Judge if they'd match our offer, and now this year to a rookie HC.  I just don't know how it can get any worse.

Long way from a Cam and TD run team. Football is about emotion and have no swag.

rhule tried to eliminate that....which he actually succeeded in doing.

new culture rhule was bringing in was absence of character and excitement.

Who needs emotion when you got analytics. With solid analytics, a team of zombies could win...or so Tepper and Rule would have us think.

    • He makes a good point about Wallace.  In fairness to Wallace it is hard to play your position as freely as you need to when your defensive line is getting pushed around like ragdolls.  One of the greatest attributes a defensive line has is sucking up blocks, freeing up your linebackers.  Our defensive line couldn't suck up a lollipop more or less blocks.  I think Evans, Sanders and Tremble are going to be a really nice TE group.  I can see all three getting time on the field.  If Sanders can improve as a blocker teams won't be so inclined to believe it is a pass play whenever Sanders is on the field.  Ryan Fitzgerald, I think was an awesome pick-up. Hopefully he can fill our kicker void. Luke Kandra many turn out to be our next Norwell.  Everything I have heard about him says he's a beast.  He needs some refinement, but the good news is he's got Hunt and Lewis (arguably the best guard tandem in the league) to learn from.
    • Great teams build through the draft and have several young players that start that are on rookie contracts. It's important to hit on players in rounds 4 thru 7.  These should be future starters and solid depth.  When you hit on most of your picks you free up a lot of cap space for those one- or two-year players to fill spots you are thin at. No GM is going to perfect on all their picks.  You're going to whiff every once in a while.  That was Hurney problem.  He'd nail the first pick but after that it was reach after reach and we couldn't get any depth on this team. I'm excited about Morgan as our GM and hopefully he'll be around a long time.  It will be even better if Canales can continue to grow as a head coach, both in the development of young players and play calling. I remember last season after Young came back in the lineup and started to perform well.  We saw different plays I had only seen other teams use.   If Canales's play design and play calling continue to grow. Morgan and Canales will be linked together for a long time.  It would be nice to see a Coach and GM together for a decade or two. Go Panthers
    • They also came out for the encore and the singers were dressed in canes jerseys. Pretty fuging cool.
