This prediction will not strike many within the NFL as particularly bold (or new), but it’s increasingly difficult to fathom scenarios in which Matt Rhule’s Carolina Panthers tenure lasts all that much longer.

In fact, based on what I’ve been hearing about this situation since at least the middle of last season, I’d bet you a barrel of sweet tea that the coach who turned around programs at Temple and Baylor is back on a college campus in time to recruit players for the 2023 season.

and this little snippet - ut oh ............

And I’ll sprinkle in another Panthers prediction: Star running back Christian McCaffrey is elsewhere by midseason, too.

Vegas or Miami can finagle their cap to CMC package could work. Vegas for sure, Miami would need to restructure or give us a contract (Gesicki?), theirs would be a bit more entailed.

Both would make A LOT of sense.

And I’m relieved to hear that about Rhule. Can’t ever truly hate a guy but he’s really spiraled this franchise.

    • Unfortunately business is business especially when there are large sums of money on the table. Goes the same for player and ownership. Does not make it right either way.  Why would he not want to play for the niners? Closer to home with a team that has a chance of delivering a SB trophy.
    • I don’t know if it’s him bad mouthing his former situation in public or my pettiness but either way I’m not a fan. Dude was on playoff teams getting paid millions to entertain. I’m not better that because and I am better than that. You don’t bad mouth your former employer in public. Esp after getting over paid and two, poor little Russian baby didn’t get the playing spot he wanted. Rod had him exactly where is was supposed to be.  He had a mean lip check and did defend our players. Specifically the devils game around Christmas where is our Haula on his ass. Cool. Thank you. But don’t talk poo about us. Because it make you look like Haula.    “need to get as far away as possible”. fug off. Didn’t see Burnsy bad mouthing and his play dropped off too.    sorry, but Orlov doesn’t get a pass from me. See you twice a year…
    • I don't really care about your post at all. I just saw the direction of the discussion and this snippet from an article I read earlier in the day was a good spot to put non-Panthers info. I mostly don't care about the players personal lives. That's off the field/personal poo. Not really any of my business.  I also don't know him personally so what would be the point of congratulating him outside basically attempting to draw attention to myself like so many in the social media/internet realm.
