I was behind the sidelines yesterday yelling at Rhule... the players were laughing with me

This is good. I do not feel sorry for professionals that play pathetic. Matt Rhule and Phil Snow ruined this organization. The only hope we have is whenever they are gone.

Heckling and trash talking athletes and coaches at sporting events is part of the game - as long as you don’t make it personal and cross any lines

GF and I made the trip up from ATL to watch this poo show. About midway through the 4th, we moved down to right behind the bench since at that point the stadium was probably at 20% and security didn't care. Being my drunk, obnoxious self, I started heckling Matt Rhule (and there was no way he didn't hear me). I thought it was pretty telling that the O-line group on the bench closest to where I was sitting was laughing along with me as I hurled insults.

Just watching the sidelines and paying particular attention to body language, it is clear the players don't like him at all. Also, as much as Baker tries to hype up his teammates, it's pretty apparent that they are not very receptive to it. Just kind of a sad state of affairs here on Mint St.

I'll be back for the game against Denver, since my GF's best friend is a diehard Broncos fan and wants us to show her around Charlotte, but otherwise I could give less of a fug about this team now. I wasn't even mad yesterday. This is the first time in my 20 years being a Panthers fan I've felt this way. Apathy is much worse than disappointment.

At least we can still get fuged up with the Roaring Riot.

To you! You can hurl all the obscenities you want when you've driven up from ATL and put down $300+ and witnessed this failed PR attempt by Fitterer and Rhule in Baker Mayfield. They should both be shown the door for this b*llsh*t. Inexcusable and it gone too F'n far already.

Please throw a couple "f'n idiots" and "f'n Fhules" at Rhule for me, be creative, and say "and that's from ripp!" when you go to the Denver game. Thank you patriot.

    • To me, this seems like they feel they aren't going to be competitive. I can't help but go back to Bryce. Good guy, but he doesn't inspire people to give it their all. He isn't a "leader" that people look to. There is no Smith, Delhomme, Kuechly, Cam, etc. coming in that door.  It has to be Bryce, but biologically speaking, how often is the shortest man in the room going to command the kind of respect that will drive people? It just isn't. That isn't how we are wired. That isn't how any living animal on Earth today is wired.  I just follow the science guys.
    • Vick's issue with Reid was that he couldn't take a hit, and he wouldn't go down. Otherwise he was pretty good much of the time.  Mahomes has a system that works. Mahomes doesn't become Mahomes elsewhere because not everyone can extract 125% of the ability of a specific player like Reid can. Kevin O'Connell is beginning to look like he has that ability as well but I'll need to see how he does with his Redshirt Freshman.  I also wonder how much of their playoff issue last year was related to the offense as a whole and not just Darnold. Fans don't really dive into the "why" things happen, they just see the what and complain about it.
