He is saying if Moton’s knee injury is limiting him then perhaps we roll with Cam Erving in his place somewhere on the OL. It’s not the worst idea, he could even play LG and BC can swing out to RT if needed or we can try him at RT.

If Bozeman can play LG it makes sense to move BC to RT.

My guy @ForJimmy already answered this. Only those that watched all the games and pay attention to the OL can see how bad Moton has been this year.

The OL is much improved form last year and gotten better each week. Been good enough to place in the top 1/3 of many rushing stats. Id never thought Id type - "Moton is the worst OLman" after 4 games. But he is and if thats his best, past time to find a replacement. I love warrior heart and all that macho BS, but when youre hurting the team...... maybe go on short term IR and fix/strengthen whatever injury is holding you back.

He can and did prior to last year for the Ravens. Good call! Also if BC is a disaster at RT you can roll out BC at LG, Bozeman LG, and Icky at RT. I’d hate to shuffle them all up and move Icky from LT, but that could work in an emergency.

Icky rising Moton falling. You just can't win with this oline. Also shout out to that Ian Thomas contract extension what a bargain.

Damn, you mean half of the huddle doesn't want to call him a bust now?  Who would have thought a starting rookie LT would have a rough couple of games from the outset of the season. It was obvious to me dude was making strides from week-to-week.

Also Ian Thomas, contract and extension should never be in the same sentence.

21. WR Robbie Anderson: 52.7
22. WR Shi Smith: 51.8
23. TE Tommy Tremble: 50.9
24. RT Taylor Moton: 47.3
25. TE Ian Thomas: 42.8

23. TE Tommy Tremble: 50.9

25. TE Ian Thomas: 42.8

And I still get doubted that we need to draft a TE early.

That will forever be one of the most puzzling contracts I’ve ever seen us give out. Literally who were we competing with? You could literally draft a Ian Thomas every year in the NFL draft, waste of money.

    • But that's the point, if the locker room feels that way, then you're going to upset them by still keeping Bryce around and playing him over the Top 10 pick. Again, it goes one of 3 ways... 1. Bryce plays well enough to earn an extension 2. Bryce still sucks and we draft his replacement who starts Week 1 with a new QB as his backup 3. Bryce still sucks, we draft his replacement in the 1st, but they start the season backing up a new vet QB who was brought in to be his mentor. With an OUTSIDE chance at a 4th option where Bryce plays well enough to convince the team to let him play out the 5th year option and then make a decision.  Which I can't see it happening, but there is still a non zero chance of that happening I guess. The only way we draft a QB next year and still have Bryce on the roster, is if we're taking someone in the middle rounds hoping to develop them as a long term backup to Bryce.
    • I hear you. But I am not absolving Legette just because he is from my neck of the woods or anything else.  Tge comment was more about the fans uneven application of blame.  I do agree that there is a noticeable disconnect between him and the QB and that he might do better with a more polished and capable delivery man.  Abd don’t feel that they used XL right, or at least how I expected it to look.  And that could be a function of a reticent WB that shies away from that style of attack. I mean it was either him or Canales that pretty much eliminated downfield from the playbook - even while we see guys running free at times. It Could work if they commit to it.  Whoever isn’t committing.
    • Lot of passion there.  Look, if Bryce plays down to the level that we feel the need to draft a QB high, you don’t think the locker room might be ready for anything that helps them win?   There are s lot of angles to this that could come into play depending on what happens this year.
