He was garbage, his injury kept the myth that he's a good QB alive on the huddle though. It wasn't even rookie struggles, he looked like he belonged in the arena league or something.

Yeah I was watching and thinking like he's so bad at this he's going to get hurt. Like he's putting his life in danger out there and throw up pure trash in the process. Just horrid. We would be completely insane to just roll with Matt and not take a QB. I just can't un-see that preseason play.

Idk I still think you go QB no matter what. Either that or you package the number 3 pick (or whatever pick we have) for a big time QB trade. We have been in QB hell since Cam left, and will never compete until we find our guy. We will be wasting years of our core unless we pull the trigger and keep trying until we find a solution.

Depends on where we’re selecting.

We’re 3rd or 4th pick and top 2 are gone, I take Anderson or Carter on the dline.

We’re 5th - 8th, I try to trade back to 10-15 and acquire more picks with TE Michael Mayer my target.

Were 9th pick or later, just go ahead and select TE Michael Mayer.

That was my issue. Just nothing translated in terms of athletic traits. He didn't look like he belonged on an NFL football field.

I'm looking for the #1 overall pick to take over a game against a 1-7 team - especially in these conditions.

They have to follow their game plan. Day has been limiting throws until just now due to weather. I just watched number 2 drop an easy TD…

Trick question, don’t let the top two escape us. Trade up if we have to. There’s not a third QB I’m interested in, so in the interest of the OP, take BPA. No thanks to Levis, Hooker or any other QB. I’d rather give Corral a shot than spend a pick on any of the other QBs.

4d chess... playing Corral might yield Drake Maye

    • Especially with no other major sports in the area other than UNCW basketball and soccer. It's a good 2 1/2 hour drive just to catch a collegiate football game. If this new arena were built I would hope it also includes an Adult League - I would join up and time allowing would be more than happy to help coach some youth teams. 😄
    • That was real fear in his eyes when the rope was being taken. My younger days, I had my best friend that happened to be black come over all the time. I had the nicest bulldog on the planet, my friend Damon was scared to death of him. His grandmother and daddy taught him to fear all dawgs and seen the same fear in his face and voice.    I think alllll young kids should take swimming lessons and not fear the water. Very thankful my parents did this, I no longer get in the ocean since its 50% sewage. But I enjoyed all the lakes, pools, and oceans I swam in.
    • My personal opinion is the non-guaranteed contract is the main reason for NFL success. MLB and NBA players are on cruise control after their big contracts and it shows in the product.  NFL is each year you are fighting for your job. Same for the majority of the public.... You get lazy or try to coast after the 100+ million contract, your ass will be cut within 1-2 years. Then the next one will not even touch 100 million+. Besides a few NBA players like Kobe was coming for blood with a 300 million contract or 1 doll hair deal. Brandy Beal just reached a buyout where he was getting 110 million, many other cases..... I dare say his name for the hornets guy..... MLB sooo many times as well.    If the NFL starts fully guaranteeing all contracts, Id have a new hobby to fill the hours of entertainment NFL gave me.
