Very happy the kid is coming back, but not gonna lie... he should've pocketed that cash and suited up for UGA next year.

UGA, Auburn, tOSU, Bama. TxAM

you know it was 2 of these cheaters. NCAA has a big time storm of sh-t on their hands.

Then there's this:

The Bahamas Bowl (Miami- Ohio v. UAB): attendance- 12,172

The Cure Bowl (UTSA v. Troy): attendance- 11,911

The Las Vegas Bowl (Florida v. Oregon St): attendance- 29,750

I was just out to dinner and one of the TVs had a bowl game on with Toledo vs Liberty and I swear there wasn’t 500 people in the stands. Bowl games like this shouldn’t exist.

I’m just uneducated on how another school can offer a kid money.  This NIL thing is fugged up…I need to read up on it

Bowl games aren’t about attendance unless it’s a NY6 or a CFP bowl, it’s all about TV ratings and somehow, these shitty bowls still pull in good ratings.

For example, ESPN Events owns the RoofClaim.com Boca Raton Bowl that featured Toledo and Liberty. RoofClaim.com is the titling sponsor but it’s owned and operated by ESPN Events. Surprisingly, this game was the highest rated show (original) on TV for Tuesday. Does ESPN care that it looked like there was only 2,000 people in the stands? Absolutely not, their network was responsible for the highest rated show on television on Tuesday and that’s all that matters to them.

I have this Houston bowl game on in the background while I get poo done around the house and I'm not exaggerating when I say there might be a few dozen fans in attendance. They just showed a wide shot of the stands and now I know why it seemed like they had been avoiding doing that. The sea of aluminum was blinding.

Who's gonna freeze their ass off in freakishly cold weather in Shreveport watching a pair of 6-6 and 7-5 G5 teams?  It's a 3 hour drive if you're a ULL fan.

    • I thought this presented an interesting point. It is fair to wonder now, about switching the two QBs as so many tried to do that first year where Bryce was trash and CJ looked great.  It is almost the reverse scenario now and I wonder what CJ would look like here with better weapons better coaching and better protection. Overall, compared year one.  If each player had been in the other place for the three years. I would love to see CJ with this team now.  Just to see.
    • I really have no clue what to expect sunday.  To quote one of my favorite bands of all time, Operation Ivy "All I know is that I dont know".  We could win, hell we could win convincingly, we also could lose in blowout fashion.  We could be in a back and forth game with whoever has the ball last winning.  I legit HAVE NO CLUE.  This isnt the dominant bills teams of the past, Allen is still elite and can win any game by himself.  That said, heres my stab at looking at things. Our defense is made to stop this kind of team.  Strong against the run, a great corner but meh talent around the field.  We've stopped prolific run offenses this season.   Javonte Williams - Season low yards and ypa against us. De'Von Achane - Season low yards and ypa against us Breece hall - 3rd worst yards in a game Fact of the matter is, we arent what we were last year, we are a good run defense and that lines up well against the bills, Stop the run.  For once the lack of moving Jaycee might be a good thing, he will essentially lock down a side and without multiple real weapons thats fine.  Buffalo does not have an elite guy, theyve got a gaggle of average dudes.  Allen will stay away from Jaycee, it will be on Mike Jack and Chau Smith Wade do to their part and they will be matched with guys they can play at the level of. On offense, we do what the bills are bad at.  We run the ball well, and they suck at stopping the run.  Rico and Chuba will need 30 carries.  Andy Dalton will need to be opportunistic.  My big fear is what we learned last year, Dalton can get overconfident and make bonehead throws.  Its this simple.  Run the ball, stop the run.  Dont turn the ball over.  If we do these 3 things, we will be in a position to win in the 4th quarter.
    • This makes me wish we took a flyer on Quinn Ewers late in the draft
