Wilks is an obligatory answer. Most of us save for a small percentage knew the odds he faced. When was the last NFL interim to step in and become the permanent head coach and be successful? If you want a real discussion you look at the people pulling the strings that set all this in motion. Otherwise this is pointless.

It's the head coach's job to take the team ge has and get it to win against beatable teams.

This game is on Wilks. Win or lose, it would have been on him.

Today was an important test and he failed it. Was he the only one that failed today? No, but failure of any component is ultimately a failure if the head coach.

Welp...looks like Wilks will get one more chance to pass that test next week since the Bucs lost to the Bengals..

My only hope is the Lions will be feeling giddy about their win against the Jets, and take the Panthers lightly....

But that said, the Defense HAS TO SHOW UP and that is on Wilks.

Not often you get a 2nd chance like this....

Really solid game by Sam. He had a few throws that were off, but he took care of the football and had one of his better games. The sacks he took were either from coverage, or Ekwonu getting beat.

(Ickey got pancaked by a safety on one play?)

Defense was a complete joke today, absolutely laughable.
