Again, Reich has already failed at 3 other jobs with league-last offense when he was in charge, I have no idea why he is a strong candidate. He got fired in San Diego and Arizona for having terrible offenses as OC, then at Indy. He only had one good playoff run with the Eagles in a very lucky and weird playoffs where the Eagles crushed the Patriots inexplicably in the Super Bowl.

I'd actually prefer Wilks to Reich. But I hope the team doesn't settle like the Hornets, or we are looking at another offseason in 2024 looking for a head coach

I’d rather have Wilks If it was a choice between the two.

Steichen, please. Save the draft capital from Payton.

Take the QB that is there at 9. Save draft capital from moving up.

AR is probably the guy and with a guy like Steichen, I think he fits what the HC wants in a QB1. If Steichen is a QB whisperer (Rivers, Herbert, Hurts) and brings an OC that is in lockstep with Steichen's Air Coryell style, I think we are in a good place. Maybe he brings Minshew with him for a year or two....maybe we bring Carr in for a couple of years.... who knows.

All of these HC candidates come with concerns. Every...single....one of them.

I see several saying Payton “only” has one super bowl and was carried by Bree’s. But not many is saying what you are about Reich. What has he done as a HC? Nothing. I know people will say it’s bc his owner sucked, well I got news for you about Tepper. Would he do better with Tepper as his owner, probably not.

I do kind of like Kafka as a out-of-nowhere darkhorse. I mean he got something out of qb that was considered a bust, and a road playoff win as well.

We sometimes manage to eek out something from our bust players too, but never as much as a road playoff win. I can't even remember our last road playoff win. Chicago?

With a shaky roster too. Neal was struggling at RT, plus I don’t even know who their top WRs are. The only player I know is great is Barkley.

    • I did not want to start or even think about *if* BY reverts back to pre-non last 9 games.   There is a lane in which Panthers are looking QB after this season, I feel its higher than most will realize. I mean....not kidding... has any team ever traded up to 1st overall twice in the teams history? I don't even want to think within 3 years, just foresee Tepper squeezing Dans and Brandts sacs to the point were they are forced to trade up for a another savior.....   The kicker is I feel this way with BY playing good-great..... I think there with be non-fixable problems for contract negotiations between BY&reps vs Panthers org on the whole. You can not pay 50+ million per over few years with 70% guarantees for 3,303 yards 15 TDs and 9 INTs......Cursed I tell you....
    • It's not surprising, but it's still surprising that many of these guys don't manage their money in such a way that provides them and their families a better lifestyle than most for the rest of their lives without even working a nine-to-five. I can't imagine making over a 100 mil for a decade and ultimately ruminating about supporting my family due to financial issues.
    • That why i mentioned the KC dynasty. Those three different playoff loses were not Allens fault, in fact 1-2 plays and Bills win. KC just have better players and better coaches and more luck.  Defense-wise, Bills have been trying to crack the Reid-Halhomes magic. Its near impossible with rules and KC home field advantage. Spags has started to force the league in naming him the best DC in NFL history. I agree if you take away Bill bielacheat.... Add in Andy Reid the best QB coach and brilliant play designer/play-caller, I mean that's too much for one QB to over-come on his own.  Just trolling or not, bad is bad scot. Allen is legit as any one QB has ever been.
