Someone WILL trade for Carr, probably Indy. If we want whomever is left between Young and Stroud, we'll have to trade up at least to Indy.

2day i seen a legit report that the saints are going to be heavy players for carr.....I didnt think any team would trade for him, but thats now looking wrong...

You can easily turn carrs 41 million in signing bonus and thus its gone....but I dont thinks hes worth that type of cheese......he needs to rebuild/one year type deal....but other teams looking like they still view him as elite....

Guess I should've also asked where Brady, Jones, Rodgers, Jackson, Tannehill, Lance, Garrapolo, etc go.

These guys are all starters and maybe only one of them is staying put.

Brady to the Raiders. I don't know which Jones you are referring to, Daniel? Stays in NY. Rodgers either retires or traded to Jets. Lamar stays in Baltimore. Tannehill stays in TEN for now. Lance stays in SF. Jimmy G to Bucs

My guess...

Brady-raiders

Mac Jones- pats with O'Brien as his OC

Daniel Jones- giants

Rodgers-titans

Jackson-ravens (tagged)

Tannehill- falcons

Lance- vikings (as a backup up to start '23 and then replacing cousins)

Garrapolo- jets

Bridgewater - saints (again)

Carr- bucs

Baker- dolphins

Geno- seahawks

Darnold- panthers (backup/bridge QB)

Minshew- commanders

Picks ahead of the Panthers

1) Chicago, BPA or trade out, Teams know Houston is taking a QB so if they like a guy they will jump Houston

2) Houston, Rookie QB

3) Arizona, BPA or trade out with a team wanting to jump Indy, they are locked into Kyler long term

4) Indy, Rookie QB, I could see them trading up to #1

5) Seattle, BPA, I suspect they will roll with Geno and take a QB prospect later in the draft

6) Detroit, BPA or trade out with a team wanting to jump Vegas, I suspect they are rolling with Goff another year since the OC decided to stay

7) Vegas, Possible QB, Wildcard team that could go Rookie QB if the FA market doesn't work out

8)Atlanta, BPA, Arthur Smith needs to show improvement this year to avoid the hot seat, I think they are going to go with Ridder and a FA (e.g. Tannehill)

The Panthers

9) Carolina, Rookie QB, It's no secret the owner wants "the guy". I could see a trade up to pick #3 or pick #6 depending on how things go.

Teams that might trade in front of the Panthers for a QB

11) Tennessee, Vrabel is safe and they just got a new GM that might want to shake things up

19) Tampa Bay, Unlikely that Brady returns

i think you're right about that list. most likely teams to trade up with chicago are already in front of us so it won't really affect us one way or another.

i don't see chicago, zona, seattle, detroit, vegas, or atlanta going QB so that leaves just houston and indy. i think tampa would likely go with a vet and for some reason i also keep seeing them take tanner mckee from stanford (i see it myself, i don't see them mocking him to them). or maybe hendon hooker. anyways, i'm not really worried about them jumping ahead of us. i think the titans will also go the vet route.

we could still very well get a good QB at 9, but i think that whoever we get for HC is going to be the big difference maker. fortunately we have some good prospects for developing a QB. if we go with wilks...i think we're going to be handicapped in our ability to develop one.

I think Levis falls to 9.  Young and Stroud are both gone to Houston and Indy.

I wouldn't be mad with that pick assuming we retain our o-line and actually put together a professional caliber passing offense.

the thing is colts might get excited about levis and overestimate his appeal to other teams. it's quite possible that one of young or stroud makes it to us.

but i also think that even if anthony richardson is our pick, that if we've got someone like steichen or kafka that they would be great in helping him get to the pro level.

    • Why are most NFL refs senior citizens lol
    • I can't speak to the sample size on the double ACL tears, I could look into it but I am unsure about the quality of data I am able to find. Anecdotally, I don't think that is common for sure.  Well one giant red flag for Dobbins is that of the 3-5 serious injuries he has had in his NFL career, 100% of them have been the same leg. That's not good and it doesn't bode well for his longevity at all. As I have said several hundred times in this forum(in this case it will be in regards to Thomas Davis), outliers are memorable for a reason....because they are outliers. You don't base your decision making on outliers. That's.....stupid. I am also not high on Etienne but he does play special teams and Brooks does not. Currently, I couldn't blame anyone in the FO for choosing a 3rd string RB that can play special teams and has actually played more than 23 career snaps in the NFL in 2+ seasons.  I am not advocating for cutting Brooks but I don't think it's a player I would consider for anything other than a 3rd string role(and likely competing for it, at that) if I am building a roster for 2026. It's not like they are going to get to see him at 100% in 2026.
    • I'm not going to argue against black helmets, but love our silver helmets. No one has anything similar. If you took all the logos off all 32 team's helmets, you could pick out our helmet easy.
