Coaching Interviews: Round Two

By pivoted,  he means they went from wanting a young OC/DC for HC to being pretty set on an experienced HC. Wanted that to be Payton but he couldn't satisfy some off field concerns with Panthers search party. (Was willing to work with GM's apparently in some situations [hence the Arizona interview]

That left Caldwell, Reich and Wilks

Reich and Wilks had really good interviews with the team.

As for Moore, he's pretty much as far as rumors go the only one of the younger coaches to nail his interview so he made it to round 2.

From the looks of it those 3 are the 2nd round interviews based on early rumors.

With how quiet the Panthers have been, can't confirm with confidence at all.

Reich got fuged by Luck retiring.

Was the revolving door at QB after Luck (and not drafting and developing a young QB) Reich’s fault or the GM’s? Anyone know?

Because his record with Brissett, two corpse QB’s, and Wentz is pretty good.

Makes you wonder what he could do with some consistently at the position.

Leaving QB hell for QB hell???

According to the media...

And that's our problem as fans. All we know comes from NFL and team media reports. Those same reports last year had Nathaniel Hackett as the second coming of Bill Walsh (spoken as someone who bought in).

There's no way for us to see what's really going on behind closed doors.

Hackett never called plays and he never developed AR.   Although I imagine he "interviewed" well but I am sure if you looked closely there were red flags abound

What were they even trying to accomplish here?  Why flex the o-linemen out wide?  Nobody thinks they're going to catch a pass.  Has anybody actually said what this play was supposed to accomplish, had it been successful?

If you look at the wide video, they were setting up a wall of guys on the left side of the field. Dak threw it to the wrong guy I guess.

There are red flags with all of them. The secret is to know which ones to pay attention to and which to disregard.

Wise teams can do that. Others, not so much.

Moore could also see the writing on the wall with Dak/McCarthy in DAL. May see an opportunity to work with Reich/Wilks as OC as an upgrade.

They probably asked Steichen how he would build his offense around Darnold and Walker, since they plan to sign Darnold to a 5-year deal and Walker to 3.  Steichen forgot to mute his mic when he said "you've got to be effing kidding me.  No wonder that snake oil saleman got this job based on a plate of meatballs."

    • Clean ACLs really are not. He is already running on it. There are more complicated injuries where ACLs tear with other things that can cause more serious injuries. I think that’s where the confusion comes in.
    • Try to reduce the amount of soda that you consume on a daily basis. Soda is packed with sugars and carbohydrates, which can cause cause a poor reaction with your skin. Instead of soda, try drinking water or flavored water as an alternative to your meals during the day or night. Try using some kind of mist moisturizer instead of just using plain water. Plain water only hydrates your skin for a short while and will end up drying out your skin. Moisturizing your skin with a mist form of it is a lot easier to apply then a topical cream. Finding the right product for your skin type is a very important factor in making your skin look nice and healthy. If you have dry skin, you would not want to use products that were designed for oily skin. Make sure you research what the products you use are for, and your skin will thank you for it. After you take a shower or a bath or just wash your face, pat dry with a soft towel. Vigorous rubbing will damage the skin. In addition, leaving a little bit of water on your skin will help keep it from drying out and make it easier to apply an after-shower moisturizer. • I was thinking Adoree too. I don't want to fixate on one specific guy, just go get the best cost option for this year and roll with it
