I saw that article.  It's funny how the author thinks a HC job with Carolina is worse than a OC job under a coach on the hot seat.  Reich would get at least 3 years to get things going here, provided he didn't flame out the first 2 like Rhule.  Whoever takes the OC job for the Chargers might get fired at the end of this next season with Staley.

Salty article…we got the right guy.  LOL

@Mr. Scot Check out Jason Michael.  Mentioned him in another thread.

Worked with Reich on that OG Chargers squad, was thrust into an OC role early for Ken Wiz at age 28 in TEN (crazy)...& had to work with Locker/Whitehurst/Mettenburger (yikes), and honestly, made then look fine, then coached Mariota's best season.  Found his way back to the TE world on Reich's staff in Indy, and is now the Eagles TE coach.

Only 37 with that type of experience is wild.  Tight with Frank.  Lots of road ahead, could be one to look out for as an OC.

Irsay is apparently not even attending HC interviews with the staff because he's dead set on Saturday as his guy. Weird scenario over there that I'm assuming Reich is probably happy to get away from

Id resign if Jim hired Satuday full time. Take that JIM, whos going to scrub your toilet now?!??!
