The man is consistent, talking here about how winning in the NFL is all in the margins as he did in his press conference. I can tell that there will be no mixed messages from our HC.

Side note; just ran into Scott Fitterer at the CLT airport. Shared some excitement and I asked who’s next at coordinator? He said “you will find this week” and smiled. That was it.

Darnold was very good when he came back from IR.

I doubt they bring him back because the new HC will want his own guy, but that stretch of 6 games was the best QB play we've seen in a Panthers jersey for a number of years.

He had the worst single game passer rating in the history of our franchise to close the season against a mediocre Saints team starting Andy Dalton.

I mean he sucked royal balls in that 1 game.  No doubt about it.

But Oldham's point was the other games as well.

I'm not going to stick my head in the sand and ignore the 100+ QB ratings he got (which is tantamount to a Miracle) in those 5 other games. (well technically he had an 85 rating in one of them which we won)

 

You can not want Sam Darnold back and still acknowledge he was decent  for us (save for the sh-tshow at New Orleans(which we won anyway). 

 

I'm ready to move on from him but not ready to ignore what I saw.

Won't ignore that he was for the first time in his career....EFFECTIVE...but am ready for a new Vet to sign (Brissett anyone?) here to hold the fort for whomever we are drafting.

I think it is unfair to say that until we see results... It is quite possible that he could learn from his mistakes and actually produce a good team here. I am not too worried what Colts fans think.

I read that they were pissed at Ballard. They really don’t comment on Reich’s coaching style but how he handled the wentz situation.
