The amount of Panthers casuals still complaining about this hire and mentioning Wilks on social media is baffling.

I've had a Charlotte resident, season ticket holder tell me that she doesn't really care about winning...to her she likes knowing who is out there....pulling for TD, Cam, Luke, and Pep....that's all that mattered.

Fans are weird.

It's baffling how some of us are still content with mediocrity after all these years of living in the doldrums of mediocrity.. As a lifetime fan of this team, I will not apologize for wanting a winning culture. And if you are looking to engage in a pissing contest about my post, opinions, or the manner of how I post, please look elsewhere for that.  There are others in the huddle far better suited to engage you in that than I.

I feel like we need a sign that says this...

Guess I’m old enough not to care about who wins the press conference and the popularity contests. I care about who can build a winning franchise. As it stands now, Reich has a winning record and that was without consistency at the QB position.

which coach did you want?

Reich brought the Colts to multiple playoffs even with musical chairs at QB.

He also won a Super Bowl with Nick Foles as his QB running the Eagles offense.

Not to mention, his OC from his coaching tree is coaching in the Super Bowl this weekend and was one of many that passionately advocated that his firing was a farce.

Sucks for those who aren’t excited right now.

We are out from the shadow of Rhule. Wilks kicked our asses back in gear and made us respectable mid season. Now we have Reich who knows how to offense, is well respected, and has already made good staff decisions.

We have moved from a fuging joke with a lame duck coach, to having some respect for ourselves again.

I’m looking forward to seeing what a Reich/Fitterer off-season looks like.

Keep Pounding ladies and gentlemen.

Seriously.

Hell, this time last year we were looking at another season of Matt Rhule.

Some folks just seem to prefer being miserable grumps.

More proof that you can satisfy some  people sometimes but not all the people all the time.

Brissett would be perfect.  Assuming he knows the basic of Reichs offense and will be cheap.

But would he play any? I assume the rookie, especially if we trade up, will likely be pressed into starting duties sooner than later.
If we get Levis(Good lord autocorrect is gonna be annoying) or Richardson I could see the benefit of JB.

As much as I pounded the “Don’t want Wilks” drum I would have supported him  if he got the job and been excited for the off-season.
But with Reich I am a little bit more excited because I know we will, hopefully, have our franchise QB this off-season or at lease have a coach that can overperform if we can’t get a QB this draft.
Exciting off-season is ahead. Can’t wait.

    • Everybody made too much of that. The CBA and the 17 game schedule is what kills the cohesion we see in teams across the league in the opening games.  You decide, look at your depth and make informed decisions there or you get a an extra quarter or whatever two quarters with your ones.  Teams that are set don’t have those openings as much down the roster to evaluate but that ain’t everybody. It is a quandary. I think they need that 4th preseason game back. But as I said, I don’t lay that as the excuse for Bryce to come out looking like he does to start seasons. He has an entire camp.
    • Hey I said the 1pm west coast team, I said the up down up down and we were due for the up week.  You can’t know what is going to happen. There was a guy that detailed why the league would engineer a Panthers win to bring LA Rams back to the pack in conference standings.  Who really knows, and how much real belief do you have when citing these things? I generally have as much as my superstition allows. It rarely rises to an emotional experience. Usually it is more analytical. In terms of interest. When crazy poo happens and we win a game like today I for sure enjoy it.  I mean you have to think about it, how many times do you connect 2 4th and short situations for TDs? Who does that? That is like the most embarrassing thing for the Rams’ defense lol. That never happens and should never happen.  Expecting it to happen might not be a good plan. But it was pretty great
