Lamar going to whoever pays him the money.

If Tepper chased after Watson im sure he will at least put in a offer for Lamar.

My bet is the Jets offer something crazy they seem to be the most desperate team for a QB right now.

This makes sense.

So are we just going to compare every QB to Russell Wilson now?

Watson hasn't played football in 2 years and you writing him off after he played 6 games?

Cmon these guys could easily bounce back next year. Lets wait before we say they are washed.

There's no fair trade value for an elite franchise QB in his prime. If one is potentially available, it's a huge red flag. Watson's red flag was obvious. Wilson looks washed.

What's Lamar's red flag? I'm for letting someone else mortgage their franchise to find out.

Lamar hasn't even hit his prime yet.lol

Check his record as a starting QB. The dude wins games. His problem is he can't stay healthy.

It's crazy you rather trade the farm for the unknown Stroud, but not do the same for a proven guy in Lamar.

If it came down to trading the farm give me Lamar easily. I love Stroud but he's still a unknown. Lamar with a below average offense will still get you 10 wins by himself. Lets not act like Lamar Jackson isn't elite when he's playing.

I haven't advocated trading the farm for a draft prospect either.

Inability to stay healthy is a HUGE red flag.

If Fitt’s plan is to insert a QB on a rookie contract Into a ready made roster, then Gotdammit stick to the plan. Any plan, just have one and execute it.

Id love to have Lamar here. Division title would likely be solidified. But how about just sticking to the plan for once. Please

After the Bucs game, I would rather spend the farm on star CBs and Safeties and roll with darnold untill we land our future QB

WTF are you talking about?

Not really up to him. The Ravens will trade him to the NFC most likely.

It probably comes down to which NFC teams is going to pay him what he wants.

Honestly we probably are the most desperate team for a franchise QB of all the teams in the NFC. We been trying to find a QB for 3 years now.

Washington/New Orleans/Carolina are probably the 3 most likely teams in the NFC to trade for him imo.

ATL? They a crap ton of cap space

Don't do it. Look at the two teams that traded king's ransoms for QBs then proceeded to give them massive contracts to boot this past off-season. They suck and they have limited resources available to change that.

It’s draft or get someone that can run Reich’s system until we can draft or Corral(spelling?) gets a chance.

    • this will always be his issue. Because of either bad footwork or lack of arm strength he lofts those deeper balls. thats why he doesnt really attack the middle of the field. you cant float those passes there or its a pick. a lot of time those deep passes, wr had to slow down to catch it. you cant have an offense where you dont attack the middle of the field.
    • Well that’s the thing. Inconsistent. He will be horrible and then an hour later play much better.  In his third season, he finally played well for 4 qtrs a couple of times. You could look at a drive from those games and be a believer.  But keep watching…. you are like, that was a mirage.
    • That line about ‘above expectation’… the whole thing is so subjective. And unquantifiable due to the nature of it. Endless variables when the grader needs to make almost a split second determination of what the expectation should even be.  They try, I know. I can even give them the benefit of assuming good faith.  But that is so subjective and the name they gave it is pure hype. What about it is big time? Granted some throws are great but a plus one throw n September doesn’t seem to automatically deserve the label big time.     Would look to rename it with less hyperbolic label. That is my biggest objection really.    Big time were the throws on 4th down in the last qtr vs the Rams. Those, all day long. Excellent and for sure under big time pressure. Some other throws too. But that kind of throw seems to be a smaller fraction of what they use to calculate their grade.
