11M?  That's it?  Wow.

Also, isn't Geiseki a FA this offseason?  If we're looking for a TE we can split out that is primarily a receiving threat and not so much an in-line guy that blocks as well (like an Engram), I would prolly prefer Geiseki due to the size.  Pause.

That would require Reich and Brown being comfortable with Tremble as a TE2 and handling the blocking. They prioritize that and would, IMO, prefer a balanced TE over a receiving TE that can't block.

Is Michael Thomas just washed now?

Dude was arguably the best WR in football a few years ago.

He got a injuried foot and it never healed two years ago...had more than a few attempts to fix as well. Its a big mess for slat boy...

Let someone else overplay.  He played very well for us, but he mostly went off against terrible defenses when our OL was dominating.  Just draft Tank Bigsby in the middle of the draft, and roll with Tank, Chuba, and cheap vet.

Fitterer found him last year for $2 million I'm sure he's confident he can find another RB for a similar amount that can replace D'Onta's production

If the RB market is this saturated, Pollard could have 3-4 all-pro years ahead and fits Reich’s RB style quite closely. Love that fit and he’s one of my fave players.

I know we don’t want the over investment at RB but really do love Pollard. Him and k Herbert are two dudes that are at the top of the league, just behind older bulls.

Good chance Zek gets cut and Pollard gets the tag

    • I've already posted this but I think it's worth repeating here: "To me, that's an insult to Horn but that's besides the point. Against the Dolphins, the Panthers faced a 4-5 with 3:31 left in the game. Bryce hit Horn for a 17 yrd completion picking up the 4th down and leading to a score for the win." So why shoulf they have not used Horn on that down given they had before - with success.
    • each of the past 3 yeara byoungs y/g passer rating and qbr all have been between 30th and 24th.  up and down he hasnt improved he had the atlanta game thus year and a few ok games but didnt even eclipse 300 yards but 2 games and one of those 2 againdt arizona he got 300 bc he was trying to come back from a blowout he caused by playinf horrific.  i just dont see what everyome else sees maybe i am the one with the issue bc i cant see his greatness.  i woild rather an udfa rookie next year at qb
    • It may help satisfy the rule, but I don't think the franchise that pushed for the rule is interviewing anyone they wouldn't seriously consider for the job just to satisfy the rule. If the Steelers interview you, they have legitimate interest in hiring you
