Thanks @Martinsomeone actually created this exact thread about a month ago with these videos. Maybe we can merge these and pin it?

Kidding, just bored, it's raining outside, and I'm cold.  I really have nothing better to do right now.

Can we get a recap for those that don't have the time to watch these?  Thanks!

McCown likes all three. They mostly show good plays, but did show some stuff he didn't like as much. They did wonder if Levis and Stroud can be more consistently mechanically sound instead of relying on arm strength alone as Levis seemed to do at times in college. I finished the Young video just a couple minutes ago and they didn't find as much wrong with his game as the other two. They called Young a point guard on a football field and loved how he would move the offense around and call out things at the line instead of just doing the fake clap a lot of college QBs do.

My interpretation was that he was very hesitant on Levis and had to dig a bit deeper to find positive thing. They even said they needed two games to be able to do a proper analysis. But maybe I misread the analysis.

We’ve all bickered for months in this board but I think it’s clear. As a whole, we want Stroud first.

I just fear the price. And he is not necessarily the next greatest thing...just maybe the safest bet of this draft. We will not be able to fill some other holes if we try to move up to 1.

I am absolutely burnt out from the recycled QBs we’ve had the last three seasons. And I like a lot of what I see from CJ. If our staff is all in then I definitely am as well. The picks won’t hurt as bad if we have a couple solid seasons. Which I think we are more than capable of having with this staff and roster.

    • It's fixable on the helmet display. Just make the left-hand whiskers (which are the ones hidden on the right side of the graphic), black.
    • According to this movie’s logic that would lead to the Texans calling us and being all flustered like “Omg, what do you know that we don’t!?” And they’ll proceed to trade us pick #2 for nothing because they are scared lol.
    • Folks, I think this has to be defense.  I doubt we go WR because WRs suck in this draft after the first round--in our area of need.  We signed 2 free agents....TE?  Well, we restructured Ian, Tommy is developing, and we signed a veteran.  Not seeing that, unless a stud drops to us (kincaid).  We need to fill holes on defense--specifically, at edge/olb.  We need another CB to backup Jackson and Horn and play nickel and keep Henderson's role limited. I say the #39 pick should be edge--the draft is loaded with edge talent this year.   Fish when the fishing is good.  We'd have Burns, Haynes, Barno, and the new rookie--that is not great, but a solid rotational OLB/edge would be great, since free agency is not where you go for help.  (I do not think YGM plays OLB/edge--think he becomes a pass-rushing DE, but he and Luvu could step into the OLB/edge role in certain situations.) Id like to see us sign a CB like Shaq Griffin so we can focus on depth at:  Linebacker, Defensive End, offensive tackle, maybe Safety.
