There will be a great WR at 39 and a good TE available in the 3rd

After the initial "CHANGE IS BAD, NOT MY DJ" there's a LOT to like about this trade if it hits.

Franchise QB paired with a WR/TE. Still got selections to grab pieces for the defense, and only lost one future 1st in it. Lost a future 2nd as well, but that's two years off and easier to absorb if we nail this draft.

Hold on to your butts.

103 yards and a TD against All-Pro CB Surtain jr in week 12.

D.J. Moore has been criminally underrated by our fanbase.

I think a lot of fans are going to be in for a surprise if they think his production is going to be easily replaced.

Keeping pick 39 is huge for this year's draft capital.

We keep 2025's first.

I mean, we're gonna miss DJ but we've still got our whole draft minus pick 61.  Not to mention, the 1st overall pick.

Hot damn folks.  They're not playing anymore games.

Yeah, you gotta think that we go QB and WR.

I am amped. We finally did something smart.

    • I don’t want to see another high pick put into WR or offense that isn’t OL or QB. At least not again it would make something like 5 straight years, we are at 4 straight years with 1sts and 2nds used on the position now. Too much to have one player left from all that. So he gets another go at it afaic.  If they can bring in someone to compete with him that is undrafted, a FA on a prove it deal, some cheaper route, go for it.
    • Because Bryce can’t throw a true deep ball.
    • The original hope was that he was just raw, and with some coaching he could blossom into a big time playmaker. Turns out he’s not just raw, he’s got no fundamentals or mentals of any kind really. You keep him as long as he’s cheap and try your best to coach him up no matter how futile it may seem.  When the time comes you cut him loose.
