Not a great comparison.  Wasn't Bradford a #1 overall QB? Totally different from a LB selected in the late first

yes but he was the last 1st overall pick on the old CBA where the first overall pick ended up with more money than half the team. He did what he did with the rams and then the same thing to multiple other teams lol.

Who cares where he was drafted? Mayfield was #1 overall. Hell, so was Jamarcus Russell. Teams weren't lining up to throw massive amounts of money at those guys because they were once #1 overall picks. Bradford was mediocre when he was on the field and stayed injured and teams STILL paid him over and over again. It never made any sense and still doesn't. Bradford probably made more in relation to the cap at the time while doing less than possibly anyone in NFL history.

You're right, Bradford wasn't even mediocre through most of his career.

At least Shaq has been above average at times.

All joking aside, Sam Bradford is the 24th highest earning NFL player of all time. He made more money in 9 years than Tony Romo did in 14 and Mike Vick did in 13.

Bradford is the definition of overpaid for mediocre results.

Yeah but a lot of that was from being the last QB to get that old rookie QB money under the old CBA.

It’s amazing how much money Bradford made for being constantly injured!! Good on him but damn he raped a lot of teams!
