I’ve said all along young is the best qb in the draft but his size will not hold up.  Now people such as yourself are comparing him to Wilson and his size and it’s clear from the pictures they have completely different body types.  Russ is thick.  Young is tiny.

Yes. Russ at 31 has a different body type than Young at 21.  He is 7/8" taller and when he was 21, weighed the same--you say that Young will not hold up and you state it as a fact.  My counter to that is a comparison with Wilson who has a very similar playing style--one that has allowed him to miss only 4 games in 11 seasons.  His size was not a factor because he was very elusive, smart, and did not take hits.  I am suggesting the same thing for Young.  By the way, Cam Newton was 6'5" and 250 lbs while Russell Wilson was 5'11" 210-215.  How many games did he miss during the 11 years Russ was with Seattle?

Russ at the combine had a different body.  I just linked the pictures

I think all signs point to cj.  And you can simply narrow it down to being the exact qb Reich wants for his offense.  He has never worked with a guy like young and he would have to do some pretty big adjustments to modify it.

I keep hearing that CJ is exactly what Reich wants in a QB, but what adjustments would need to be made? Young is short but he can read the whole field and throw over the middle. He can extend plays and throw on the run. I don't see how he couldn't thrive in Reich, or anyone's, offense. Reich mentioned he wants a smart, quick processing QB that can play the position like a Point Guard.

That's Bryce Young. But that's also CJ Stroud. I don't know if the decision is as cut and dry as everyone seems to be, and it looks like lines are being drawn in the sand about which QB everyone likes. I'm over here stuck in the middle liking them both for different reasons.

That's true.  Unfortunately, Ohio State's defense has been in name only.  Still, they were a missed field goal away from beating Georgia and being national champions.  FWIW, I think Ohio State is the team to beat this season.

Will depend on the QB play. Y’all have Marvin Harrison Jr at WR and Henderson at RB that when both are healthy are basically unstoppable. This could have been Quinn Ewers season to shine had he not run off to Texas.

Think about this. Fitterer came from Seattle where he had Russell Wilson. He’s quite undersized and had an amazing Seattle career. If rumor is true Tepper likes Bryce Young as well, it just makes sense he will be the guy especially if he shows out at his pro day. The size thing. Y’all are overthinking it.

and why should we be excited? A Russell Wilson in his prime was fun to watch and Bryce young is a lot like him in my opinion. Our version of him could be even better. That will be must watch football. Let’s be honest all of you would take Prime Russell right now…

People are gonna call me crazy but hey. Check my last posts. I always get poo’d and yet I’m always right. I said last YEAR WE SHOULD TRADE CMC AND DJ MOORE for the highest capital possible because we just weren’t gonna get it done with them due to other circumstances. Called that. *shrugs*

Bryce young will be the pick.

OK--that does not mean that Young's body is more vulnerable.  Cam had a different body from Russ (much more impressive and durable looking) and he was injured a lot more.  You would have to build the OL and the QB would have some ground rules--but the part of the body that matters most on a QB is that part between the ear holes.

    • The league would protect him.  The amount of poo Jerry Jones has had exposed and got away with?  The amount of poo Stephen Ross has got away with?  How long Dan Snyder got away with essentially fuging sex trafficking employees and poo???????  Taking down JR was a hit job.  You think the other 31 owners, especially the older ones aren’t blathering, blatant, ignorant ass, bigoted rich racists who have committed far worse things than Blue Jean Fridays?  The ones I named above have DEFINITELY did worse than what JR was accused of.  And do you think guys like Steve Smith would’ve been viewing him as a father figure if they felt that’s who he was?  JR pissed the league off with that last lockout situation and they made him pay.  They lined a new guy up to join their billionaire boys club in Tepper, and they prolly slid a pretty penny to Jonathan Jones to write the “expose,” to get JR out of here.  Again, all the owners I’ve listed above have been verified on record for doing worse poo, yet they’re still running their organizations, unquestioned.  They hand-picked Tepper long before JR was forced out, so he isn’t going anywhere.  Sadly.  fug the NFL.  (Also, to be clear, it’s always fug racism, bigotry, and sexual exploitation - not ever excusing it.  Just making the point that the NFL isn’t operating under this clear standard of justice applied to each and every case)
    • I was still in the throes of a contentious divorce and my job at the time had me work on Sundays.  At the beginning of the season I tried to still work around Sundays so I could see our games.  I think after Bryce came back from the benching, I said fug it.  First time in my life I intentionally didn’t watch our games, even through the Atlanta finale.  In the past, even if we didn’t live up to expectations, I would watch to still support and at least analyze player development, strengths and weaknesses, coaching, etc., but Bryce makes all of that a moot point, so I stopped watching. Again, this is asinine,  it if he is retained (still can’t believe this is even a possibility of a conversation due to how shitty our organization has become under Tepper), I will NOT watch next season until he is gone.
    • Live look at Bryce playing ping pong.
